I couldn’t resist the title, but I must apologize to my grandparents (Sorry, Grandma and Grandpa…Sheaffer used this title a couple weeks ago and I was trying to be funny. It’s HER fault! :)). Love, Love, Love reading Pinterest Told Me To. This is my morning routine. My alarm goes off, I have my quiet time, I go through my blogs on the bloglovin’ app, and THEN I get out of bed. It’s how I start every morning. So, on any given morning I could be laying in bed at 6:30 laughing out loud at Sheaffer!
I love that Pinterest has been bossing Sheaffer around for the last year and lately the Pinterest Told Me To blog has been quite bossy to me!! She’s made me buy things that were SO necessary, and I’ve put some things together that back in the day I never would have thought about wearing together. So…here’s the story…
Last Wednesday Sheafffer had this post about her Vigoss distressed jeans, leopard flats, and a striped shirt. I thought it was super cute. I’m sure I laughed at something funny she wrote, and then I went about my day. During nap time I took a shower to get ready for church that night, and accidentally freakin’ nailed Sheaffer’s look from that morning. I actually think my first instinct was to Face Time Sheaffer.
Does anybody else do that?? When I’m excited about something, I’ve been known to Face Time a friend…whether they’re ready or not…right Shay? ha! Anyway, Sheaffer didn’t answer because I’m sure she was very busy :). I eventually got a hold of her and she shared in my excitement of “nailing her look”.
I took pictures because I was so proud of myself!

I had a little help from my trusty photographer, Ebby Lee. 🙂 It’s kind of blurry and dark. She’s got a long way to go with her photography skills…but you get the idea. Striped shirt, distressed Vigoss jeans, and leopard flats.

I only have one full length mirror in my house and it’s in our master bathroom. It is the one room that is still a hot mess from moving. I refused to let you see the boxes so it’s a thigh-up kind of picture.

And…a picture of the shoes. 🙂
Sheaffer…thanks for keeping us laughing. Can’t wait to nail another one of your looks! XOXO
Yeah ya did! You FREAKING nailed it! 🙂 That striped shirt is so cute. Don't think I've ever seen it?!? And those jeans look soooooo cute on you. You know what that means? You HAVE to get the "clean" version too.
Also, can't get over how cute your new blog design is! Andrea did it again! 🙂
Hi Erika! I've been following your blog for a while now(popped over from Mix ad Match Mama)! You and your fam are adorable! I love the new look of the blog and all the fun posts! You totally nailed the look girl! And I LOVE all your arm candy:)

Ok… I just spent half of my plan period at school catching up on your blog. I must say: I really LOVE the new look!!! I am going to have to talk Ty into letting Andrea do a design for me. 🙂 I am so excited to see all of your great future posts. Love you all!
You did freaking nail this look! Your grandma should be really proud :). I'm so glad we let Sheaffer boss us around…she really does know what she's talking about!
Thanks Sheaffer!! I thought I looked just like you, don't you think?? I got the striped shirt from Gap about a month ago maybe?? Please don't even say that via the computer. You'll make me HAVE to go out and buy them now! 🙂
Katie…thank you so much!!
Liz…thank you!!! I'm going to pop over and visit you. 🙂
Morgan…I LOVE to hear that. Thank you!! And.. you too. It's officially time for a DeClue post!
Thanks Shay!! I agree! Even though Sheaffer can be a little bossy…we should probably keep listening. She is OLDER after all. 🙂
Great job! I actually wore stripes and my leopard flats today as well! All because of Sheaffer 🙂 Now that I picked up the Must Have jeans, I will have to try that combo as well!
Love the shoes! Where are they from?
Mandy…the shoes are from a local boutique. Are you local?? If so..e-mail me at alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com
Hi Erika,
Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not local. I live in PA, but found your blog through Sheaffer and Shay's blogs. 🙂
