House Update #3

It’s been almost a month since my last house update and some things have been happening around this place. It’s definitely time for a little update. 🙂

If you’re new around here, our 1998 home is under major renovation. Almost every space {but maybe two rooms} is getting some kind of face lift, an update, or being completely remodeled. The project started back in March and our family lived downstairs while the crew worked on the upstairs. Then we switched around June to the upstairs while the downstairs has been renovated. Basically, our life has been a tad turned upside down since March. We’re tried our best to have good attitudes and everything but the food situation has truly been “okay”. But we are moving to my in-laws for hopefully the last couple weeks. The crew is about to start painting and tackling all the staining of the hardwoods as well as the stairs. The best news is we’re about 4-6 weeks out and we are loving the results so far!

Check out our new kitchen space….I absolutely love it! We had to move some doors and enlarge some rooms to make a bigger kitchen happen but I’m so very glad we did.

A little peek at another angle of the kitchen. Our appliances have all arrived and are awaiting their new homes. We have to get the countertops in first.

Ebby Lee’s new bathroom is coming together nicely….it’s sweet, sassy, and perfectly girly for her! Loving it!

Our bathroom on the other hand still has a bit to go. About seventy percent of the tile is up and the new cabinet is in…

Can’t wait to get everything else completed as well.

This weekend we’re working on choosing every paint color and any wallpaper we’d like to add to the space. Excited to see this project start to really come together. I can’t wait to show you the “afters” once they’re here!
