Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!!  Whew!  The hubby has been out of town this week and I’ve been struggling a bit.  Just keepin’ it real!  We’re ALL looking forward to his return.  ðŸ™‚

I’m joining my girls, Andrea and Narci for our Friday Favorites.  Today I’m sharing some favorite things that happened this week.

Monday morning before school they were showing off our “dog”.  We built a dog out of those Zoob blocks Sheaffer told us all to get for our sons.  I listened and am so glad I did.  Our entire family of five enjoyed them.  Thank you, Sheaffer!

This happened Monday morning too.  Tab had a major case of the “Mondays”.  He went outside Sunday night and noticed a flat tire on his car.

We promised the kiddos snow cones after the next tee-ball game.  We’re not certain there will EVER be another tee-ball game (because of all the rain) so we snuck out after dinner for snow cones anyway.  ðŸ™‚

This guy was PUMPED about his snow cone.

Kensington played at our house one afternoon this week and these girls pretended to be statues.  Now if I could have gotten my two boys to stand still and quiet THAT would have been amazing.  haha!

My Rodan and Fields’ team had our event on Tuesday night.  These ladies are an absolute BLAST to work with.  Not only have the money and products been great, but these friendships I’ve made over the last year are such a blessing.

On that note, if you ordered our Sunless Tanner be looking for them to arrive next week.  I just received them yesterday afternoon and we’ll be mailing them today, tomorrow, and Monday.

Kind of blurry….but my little Nix graduated from Pre-K yesterday!!  Here he is marching in with his class.

This picture CRACKS me up!!!  They asked all the kiddos what they wanted to be when they grew up.  His response, “baseball player”.

They sang a couple songs with the cutest motions.

And then he got his diploma!!

The theme this year was “Jesus Is My Superhero”.  His teachers went all out with these cute little chair decorations.  Aren’t they cute?

So proud of this guy!!  He is my right-hand man and I have NO clue what Bowen and I will do without when August arrives.

M came to watch too and then Nixon talked her into springing him out of school early.  haha!  That’s what Grandmas are for, right?

Best buds posing for a quick picture.

Sidenote about Nixon’s pants-When Nixon and I were laying out his clothes yesterday morning, he told me he HAD to wear jeans.  He was crazy insistent about it.  I searched and searched for a pair that fit that didn’t have major rips in the knees.  Well, if you’re Nixon Slaughter that doesn’t exist.  I tried to encourage him to wear his khaki shorts, but he wasn’t having it.  So….Nix would on stage with his ripped jeans.  #yesmom  Does that qualify??

Hope you had an awesome week too!!  Don’t forget to join us for the link-up!
