Friday Favorites-Last One of the Year

EEEKKKKK!!!!  It’s CHRISTMASTIME!  I am so so ready for a little break and to have my people home with me 24/7.

All year long Narci, Andrea, and I have been teaming up each Friday for Friday Favorites.  We plan on keeping the tradition alive in 2020 as well.  If you’re a blogger,  please add it to your blog calendar and plan on blogging your faves every Friday.

For my very last Friday Favorites of 2019, I have some Slaughter Life Lately for you…
First up, these two cuties and I were ready for preschool early.

Those sweet, sweet faces are a FAVORITE!

Britty had her Christmas program this week and due to her class times she performed twice.  Can you spot that cute little donkey in the middle?

My FAVORITE four-year-old!

On day two, I snuck the big kids out of school for an hour to watch her performance.

We had a FAVORITE framily night of the year on Tuesday.  We met the Shull crew in Dallas for our 4th Annual Carriage Ride.  I cannot believe we’ve been doing this for FOUR years!  Time flies, friends.  We always meet for dinner first and then load up in the carriage.  This year the weather could not have been more perfect.

The trees in Highland Park Village are absolutely stunning!  And these eight faces are pretty cute too.

All of my carriage ride pictures are blurry.  🙁

I know it’s hard to see, but what are the odds Santa in his decorated car would be riding behind us?!

Oh, how I hope this tradition continues until we’re all old and grey and we need multiple carriages.  It’s one of my FAVORITE nights of the year.
I got questions about my boots {I know they’re hard to see}.  Mine are from a few years ago, but these are this season’s version and they come in both brown and black.

Even though I have nothing fancy planned for New Year’s Eve I’m drawn to a sequin anything and I’ve ordered a wide variety of items.  These are my favorite two that have arrived.  IGNORE MY JEANS!  This off-the-shoulder top is from Amazon, is a GREAT price, and comes in a variety of color options.  I think paired with black jeans or velvet pants this will be so cute for NYE!

I ordered my true size, a small and I’d say it’s very true to size.  I’ll tuck it in to dress it up and it’ll be perfect!

I wore this gold sequined top to a Christmas party earlier this month and just forgot to take a picture but it’s 40% off now!  And again, it’ll be darling for NYE!  I wore mine with black jeans and it’s true to size.

Okay, friends!  Hope you have the best weekend!  I’ll be back here on Monday, so I’ll see you then!
XO

We have a family we did all the fun things with too. Our kids grew up together always vacationing together, celebrating together and it was just so awesome. This summer our friends daughter is getting married and our daughter is the maid of honor. I cannot tell you how amazing having friends who are family is. We’ve been through it all with each other. The good, the bad and the ugly (teenage years!). The support is like no other and so, so important.

What a fun sleigh ride tradition and I don't think anything is better than those preschool holiday plays/concerts. I still remember all my boys' fondly. Merry Christmas!
