Friday Favorites

Hi Friday!

In true Friday fashion, I’ve teamed up with my girls, Narci and Andrea, to bring you FRIDAY FAVORITES.  Each week we invite other bloggers to join us!

First up, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s praying for Holt, who donated money, who sent an uplifting message, who bought a shirt or a necklace…THANK YOU!  If you missed the post last Friday, you can read it here.  I sincerely appreciate your generosity and know Holt and his family can’t thank you enough.

I saw this plaid cape from last year is BACK!  I paired mine with a variety of things last year…white top and denim, white top and grey jeans, chambray top and grey jeans, white top and black…you get the idea…the colors are super easy to work with.  Also, this is the kind of thing that makes a great Christmas gift.  It’s one size fits all so no questions asked-it should work.

The weather felt like FALL on Wednesday and we couldn’t have been happier about it.  🙂

There’s just something about drinking my morning coffee out of a pumpkin mug during the fall.  Is it weird for me to say it makes my coffee taste better?  haha!  #favorite

I’ve been watching Drop Dead Diva on Netflix after your show suggestions and it’s cute!  It’s mostly kid-safe so if a kiddo walks in, odds are it’s all good.  If you’re looking for a girly show to watch, I recommend it!

Okay, I think we can all agree when we’re strolling the aisles of Target {especially with a Starbucks in hand}, it’s a good day.  Am I right?  Well, I had a moment this week {I brought outside coffee} strolling through Costco, the CHRISTMAS THINGS ARE OUT!  Christmas gifts, Christmas decor, ALL THINGS CHRISTMAS are there!  As I was strolling the aisles sipping my coffee with a cart loaded down with bulk toilet paper, huge boxes of fish crackers, and packages of string cheese that will last us all month I realized I had the BIGGEST smile on my face.  You guys…is there a certain age you reach when not only strolling Target alone but also Costco can make you extremely happy?  Anyone else?  I had the same feeling I had when in college I asked for a vacuum cleaner for Christmas and I was truly excited about it.  #haveireachedtheage

Needless to say, it was a FAVORITE moment this week.  AND, if you’re near a Costco, you should go now to stroll the Christmas aisles!

We have lots of games scheduled this weekend…like I needed back-up because there are TOO many games at the same time.  But rain is in the forecast, so I’m not sure they’ll all happen.  Fingers are crossed!

Hope you have the BEST weekend!  And no matter where you are…a fall festival, at home snuggled up watching fall movies, or the aisles of Costco…I hope you find yourself enjoying the moment.

XO
