IT’S MY BIRTHDAY! FRIDAY + A BIRTHDAY=EXTRA GOOD DAY, RIGHT?

I heard from many through the years to not be scared of my forties. They’ll be some of the best and friends, I’m here to tell you so far, I believe it! I have a fun day planned with friends and family! Should be a great one!

We all know who really deserves a shout out today on my birthday is MY MOM! Forty-one-years ago today, she was the one doing the heavy lifting! Happy 41 Years to you too, Mom! XO!

In true Friday fashion, I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to share some FAVORITES from my week!

Have you heard of the Carpool Kids App? This is the little icon in Apple, if you wanna search. A friend just shared with me and we’re trying it out for Bowen’s football team this season. They practice about twenty-five minutes from McKinney so we’re using this app to coordinate carpools. The moms {me included} who are newbies had so many questions but I can see how amazing it’ll be once we get accustomed to it. All the kids are entered and if Bowen needs a ride, then I add him to the ride. I can add myself as a driver for drop off or pick up. I even add how many seats I have in my car. I’m telling you-it’s seems like a big help! This is the time of year we all could use any sort of carpool help so I thought I’d share. I hope it’s a new FAVORITE for all of us!

Clearly the theme this Friday is back to school faves…ha! Both of my boys have that longer hair style that’s popular right now but they don’t want their hair to look frizzy. Nixon just got his cut this week and his stylist recommended this R+Co Cool Wind Air Dry Creme. It’s great at taming the frizz, which is what we all need! However, it’s kind of pricey so I already told Nixon he can’t take that one to school. She recommended this curling cream for school. It works well too and is under $7 so if it’s lost in the locker room, I won’t be stressing. And on a very random note, if you’re local and need a great stylist for boys, it was our first time to visit her and she was amazing! Comment on this post and I’ll email you her information! I just placed an order of a few new goodies for the upcoming season and can’t wait for it to arrive! My FAVORITE way to spend a Sunday afternoon is on the couch in my NFL comfies!

Speaking of cute NFL gear, look no further than Abercrombie KIDS! YES! I know! I’m an adult BUT their sizes range from 5/6 to 17/18. They have a wide variety of team sweatshirts, a few NFL shield options, and even some vintage Championship/Super Bowl shirts. Last year I snagged a similar set for myself with matching joggers and you guys, COMFY!

Earlier this week, Tab and I celebrated NINETEEN YEARS of marriage! And by celebrated I mean, Tab had a nasty bug and was in bed a couple days while I bounced around from kid bed to kid bed every night trying to get comfortable. The bug is finally gone! WAHOO! And while we missed out on our anniversary dinner reservation, we have a fun birthday dinner planned tonight with the family!
