HAPPY FRIDAY!

You guys! We just had THE BEST getaway to see my bestie, Shay, and her family on Nantucket! Ebby Lee flew out solo last week. She’s flown many times but never as an unaccompanied minor. However, she did great! The rest of us flew out on Saturday to enjoy all the island has to offer, to see our people, and to celebrate the 4th of July with them! It couldn’t have been a better week! I’ll share some pictures next week but when I say that I unplugged and truly enjoyed the time, I MEAN IT! I do have some pics to share next week though-I promise!

Today, I’m BACK with Andrea and some FAVORITES from the week! It’s a random list with a little bit of everything…

Okay, friends my first FAVORITE is a good one! I spotted these Salt and Vinegar Protein Chips in the airport and had to try. I’m a sucker for anything salt and vinegar and well, these are a new FAVORITE. I’ve already ordered some as well as a few other flavors for us to try. Chips made from chicken breasts, egg whites, and bone broth? SIGN ME UP! I found them on Amazon or directly from Wilde.

One of my FAVORITE events of the summer is beginning next week…the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Card holders can begin shopping on July 11th and the sale opens to the public on July 17th! I’ll have my top picks from the sale in a post on Tuesday next week! This sale always gets me in the fall mood and has me anxiously awaiting cooler temps.

Hello! My name is Erika and I go hot and cold with reading books. I absolutely love reading but can often times get so sucked into a novel I tend to put off important things like laundry and cooking because I’m SO into a story. Needless to say, I dusted off the old kindle and have been reading quite a bit lately. I’ll share some recaps in another post but I finished this book and immediately knew it deserved a spot in my FAVORITES line up! Have you read The Light in Hidden Places? A friend recommended it and YOU GUYS-I couldn’t put it down! I found myself waking up at 2:30 a.m. just to read a little more. It was THAT good! This book is based on a true story about a Polish teen girl and is full of courage, bravery, despair, hurt, resilience, and so much more. I can’t even begin to imagine the life she led and well, you should stop reading my blog post and start the book NOW! 😉

Guess where Good Morning America was this past week? IN MCKINNEY TEXAS!! They were there for their Main Street USA series as well as to honor a local resident who’s doing amazing things for the community. Definitely a FAVORITE!
