Friday Favorites-6.2.23

Happy FRIDAY! We’re rounding out our first full week of summer in the Slaughter House…we’ve had football camp, tennis camp, watched baseball games, had baseball practice, and Ebby Lee has missed it all at cheer camp!

This week I have some FAVES from my week…

Those younger four in the Mets’ uniforms have watched many, many games played by their older brothers. This time it was their turn! Getting to watch these family friends and seeing the smiles on their faces when they saw their cheering squad were both FAVORITES!

One of Britt’s FAVORITE friends from TK happened to be on the other team! She loved getting to talk to him!

As we drove off, Bowen immediately remembered this moment when Nixon and all of his older friends came to watch Bowen play. It was a night he still remembers….FAVORITE, for sure!

This week has been a week of camps…Ebby Lee’s been at cheer camp, Bowen’s attended our high school football camp and Britt’s gone to tennis camp. The temps in North Texas HEATED up this week but getting to watch a bit of my FAVORITE ten-year-old at football camp was fun! {And worth the SWEAT!}

Britty had tennis camp, another FAVORITE. She got Camper of the Day on day two and has been loving tennis!

Today’s a bit short and sweet, because I’m off to pick up my cheerleader from cheer camp. She’s been gone all week and she’s been MISSED!
