Happy Friday, Friends!
Whew! What a WEEK! We kicked off the week on vacation, got home and had a crazy chaotic day yesterday and am so glad today is Friday. 🙂
My IG plans got RUINED yesterday. I had a kid who needed to go to the doctor {and that wasn’t in my schedule}, I had a worker who popped in mid-day to do some work that I wasn’t expecting, and I accidentally sent my id’s with Tab to his office so it made volunteering at the elementary school difficult. Just wasn’t my day, so I’m glad it’s FRIDAY!
Andrea and I are sharing our Friday Favorites today-like we do each week! We’d love for you to join us by grabbing our graphic and linking up with us!
Instead of my typical Friday Faves, today I’m sharing my five FAVORITE finds lately. These are the things I’d wanna talk about if we were sitting at a baseball game catching up on life. I’d be asking…have you watched this? Tried this? Tasted this? Let’s envision we’re outside watching a ten-year-old baseball game but the weather is absolutely perfect! Not too hot, not too cold…we’re sipping our coffees and enjoying the game, but this is our conversation.
#1 Do you have any of those loungey two piece sets? I CANNOT believe I don’t have a picture of this but THIS TWO PIECE SET I was influenced on via IG and I packed it for our travel day from Orlando to Turks. It’s a thick, soft material with long sleeves and comfy shorts. The set is under $30 and is very well made for that price tag. It comes in several colorways and is the perfect lounging or travel set. Definitely a new FAVE!
#2 What about The Mindy Project? {I know I’ve mentioned this one before but trust me-I’d bring it up again if we were sitting at a game.}

The show is on Netflix and there are six seasons. It’s funny, light-hearted and just something you can have on while you’re doing laundry or getting some work done. I thought I liked Mindy Kaling, but honestly-I love her on this show, a FAVORITE! You need to watch!
#3 What have you been cooking for dinners lately? Spring meals are always trickier for me because my life just works better with a slow cooker doing most of the work. I feel like most spring meals aren’t prepared that way so I’m always looking for new things to try. This meal is an oldie but goodie. My mom made it this week for my kids and I’d really just forgotten about it, but I had the leftovers for lunch yesterday. My mom told me ALL my kids ate it and my pickiest child had seconds. HUGE WIN!!

The beloved recipe is Pizza Joe’s! Add some sweet potato fries and a salad…EASY PEASY! It’s a FAVORITE I’d totally forgotten about!
#4 What sports are you chauffeuring to right now? hahaha! Watching my kids participate in activities they love is one of my FAVORITE things to do {as I’m sure it is yours too}.

Our middle schools here are having a three week 7 v 7 league where you randomly play other schools in our district. So basically we added that to the mix of baseball for a couple weeks. 😉
#5 Do you and your girlfriends ever head out of town on a Girl’s Trip?

My girlfriends and I have been doing it for about six years and we went to Nashville this year! It was A BLAST! And I was totally reminiscing about the fun in Andrea’s blog post yesterday-a FAVORITE trip with some of my FAVORITE girls! You can check out all the details in her post!
And then you’d have to haul a kid to soccer while I’m driving a kid to another sport so we’d have to end coffee. :). It was fun chatting with you today! Have the best weekend!
XO

I must watch The Mindy Project ASAP!!
I started watching The Mindy Project but just could not get into it… but I said that the first time I tried watching Schitt’s Creek too and now it’s one of my favorites so I’ll have to give Mindy another shot after a short break.
I’m always looking for new shows to watch, especially ones where you can things like laundry! I’ll have to check out The Mindy Project!
