Happy FRIDAY! Hope you guys have had a great week! Today is Field Day at Bowen and Britt’s school so if you need me, I’ll be in charge of the three-legged race all day. :). Before I’m off for school, I’ve teamed up with Andrea to share some FAVORITES from my week.
Last weekend, Bowen’s baseball tournament had a special theme in honor of Mother’s Day, ONLY MOMS WERE ALLOWED TO COACH ALL WEEKEND! It was a FAVORITE kind of Saturday {Sunday got rained out} when all the moms were coaching while the coaches were sitting in the stands.

Saturday afternoon had us on the softball fields watching Miss Britty play her FAVORITE sport!
After softball our mission was to see if we could start teaching Champ to smile for a pic. I told Tab and Britt to be very still so I could snap as soon as he looked. She clearly took it to heart. She looks frozen-ha! For Mother’s Day, this crew took me out to my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant to have a delicious Saturday night dinner since we thought we’d be at the ball fields on Sunday.

I recently got an order from Abercrombie. {This is a tricky store for me because it’s a place Ebby Lee would shop and I don’t want to be encroaching on her teenage self. I’m very careful to order/try things that look more like a forty-year-old mom than a teen.}
This cropped tee {but not too cropped-I’m 40!} and tennis skirt were both good finds.
Same cropped tee with the perfect length denim shorts! {They run true to size.}
Okay, I LOVE this dress but I should have sized up. The small length was crazy tight. This is a tennis dress with the built in shorts underneath. It would be cool in the summer and is absolutely adorable.
Love the halter and the structure of the top to give it a little extra details. I’d size up if you’re long waisted.
Another peek at these shorts with an old top.
I wanted you to see the length of the shorts…cover everything in the back but not crazy long. Perfect combo! And my sandals are these from last year but still in stock this season!
And this comfy romper might be my FAVORITE from the haul. I sized up in this one and it’s the perfect comfy summer staple. Can be dressed up with a cute sandal or dressed down with a sneaker. I’m wearing this as I finish this post!

Earlier this week I went to our local high school to watch Ebby Lee participate in the Powder Puff Game. Not only those girls playing but also THE WEATHER was a FAVORITE!

This last FAVORITE required a picture from the internet because we ate the bag SO QUICKLY at our house. Tab found this at HEB and we absolutely LOVED these for a little crunch with a good flavor. Have you heard of these Sweet Potato Poppers?

I’m off for Field Day! Happy Friday, Everyone!

Thank you!!
I hope you had fun at the Field Day.
What fun for Mother’s Day at the baseball tournament.
Those clothes look fab! I love the tennis dress, it looks so good on you.
Thanks, Kim! It was kind of tight! I really need a medium but they’re sold out!
I am having a MOMENT with Abercrombie right now too! Loving all of their YPB items and athlesure pieces. I have some suits of theirs too and love! Such a good quality, classic store.
YES!!
Those sweet potato poppers sound delicious! Hope you have fun at field day.
I had some for lunch!
I always love reading your blog! You have great content and I can tell you are a wonderful mom, wife, daughter, dog mom and friend! I also love how your self-confidence has grown! I know Ebby Lee, as well as your boys, appreciate you dressing like a mom instead of a teenager, even though you easily could as cute as you are!
Julie, you’re very sweet. Thank you!
