Friday Favorites-4.17.20

Do you notice anything new?  Andrea and I are changing things up a bit and have a new graphic for Friday Favorites!  We’d love for you to grab it and use it next week if you’re linking up!

I hope you’re ready for a big old dose of Friday Favorites because I’m delivering today!

First up, my sister-in-law sent a sweet little package of coloring sheets with crayons to my kids this week.  Happy mail is their FAVORITE!

Last weekend we decorated some adorable Easter cookies.  Celebrations In The Kitchen is a bakery in Hicksville, New York, with some of the cutest creations.  If you’re local to that area, it looks like they have the CUTEST classes and birthday parties available to you.  But, if you’re like me and far from New York, do not fear-this bakery will mail you all the goodies you need to have a celebration at home…or a fun cookie decorating night during this quarantine life.

Ours came with all sorts of fun Easter cookies.

Tons of icing and tons of sprinkles.

They all decorated several and then put their “best in show” on the plate for Tab to judge.  Can you tell which cookie won?

Britt’s cookies didn’t have many decorations because I caught her doing this!!  More than once.  😉
Thank you, Celebrations In The Kitchen!  They were DELICIOUS!

We’ve had lots of girl talk involving all things HAIR recently.  You can see how I style my hair during these at-home days as well as a Q and A in this postAnd just yesterday I shared a little round up of some dry shampoo reviews.  Part two of the Q and A-all about hair is coming next week!  The Sephora sale starts TODAY!

A FAVORITE around our house lately has been CLUE!

Have you guys been playing this one on repeat?

Is it just me or is it ALWAYS Colonel Mustard?

I’ve been doing my best to change it up when it comes to my fitness routine so one day last week Nixon and I went for a little jog.  We started out side-by-side and then he began to break away.

And somehow he just kept getting ahead of me…

until I could barely see him.  He was also doing things like skipping a bit, straddling any pole or box anywhere near his path, or jumping up to hit low hanging branches.  Meanwhile I was focused on the shortest distance between two points…a STRAIGHT LINE!

Last week one of Nixon’s besties sent him Tiff’s Treats for his birthday and it MADE HIS DAY!  I should add-it made ALL of our day because he shared.

This girl is living her best life with all her people surrounding her 24/7.  There aren’t many educational things she can do solo so one thing I’ve been having all three of the big kids do is choose something to work on with Britt for 20-30 minutes.  All of them are loving it!  And it gives Britty a break from Mom being “teacher”.

On Saturday, we got dressed for a drive-by visit to see the Easter Bunny.  {Most years the Easter Bunny is not a top priority but I was trying to bring a little excitement to our lives.}

The Easter Bunny greeted us and passed out bubbles before delivering a yummy breakfast spread to go.

Andrea’s husband is the best!  Inside were breakfast burritos and chicken and waffles.  It was DELICIOUS and so sweet of him to leave that note.

Now I don’t get dressed like this everyday, but I do think it’s good for my productivity when I get “ready”.  So much more is accomplished!  Everything pictured above is old and sold out.

I love this girly so much!

And last but not least, have you tried these protein bars?  A girlfriend encouraged me to give this brand a shot and these oatmeal chocolate chip flavored bars are a new favorite!  I ordered mine here and they arrived just a few days later.

What’s on your weekend agenda?  Our bedroom situation upstairs is always in a constant rotation so we have some old furniture that needs to be hauled out and thrown away.  That’s top on our list and then the usual-laundry, another game of Clue, and dinners on the patio.  Hope you have a great weekend!   Stay safe!
XO
