Friday Favorites-3.18.22

Do you see that Friday finish line? I’m crawling to get there. WHEW! What a week! Coming back from any vacation is always a tough time. Playing catch up from being out of office, all the extra laundry, plus just re-entry to real life can be hard-ha! Tab and I were supposed to be at the Houston Rodeo last night, but after a peek at our calendars we just decided it was too much. All four kids had something after school yesterday, we both had stuff to catch up on and well, we just decided it wasn’t worth it so we opted to stay home, drive kids to practices and eat greens for dinner instead.

I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to share some FAVORITES from my week!

Maybe it’s because I’m working on this post Thursday mid-morning and I’m anxiously awaiting lunch time or maybe it’s because my stomach is growling as I type BUT my first two favorites are food related. #ofcoursetheyare

First FAVORITE-all four of my kids RAVED about this dinner. This week coming off a vacation I grocery pick-up’ed some of the easiest things for dinner. We had spaghetti, chicken and rice…super easy meals. The one they all talked about and we actually ran out of was Shay’s Cheesy Ranch Tacos with these Nacho Cheese Flavored Taco Shells. I didn’t even try them {Tab and I had the boring kind}-the kids ate them all and were asking for more! So, if you need any easy meal for next week try the tacos and grab these shells.

Next FAVORITE {also food related} is pizza crust. Riveting content today, huh? 🙂 Another meal we had this past week was homemade pizzas. I use a simple pre-made crust for the kids and have turkey pepperonis, sausage, red onions, sauce, and mozzarella for them to add what they’d prefer. Tab and I use these crusts. Now sometimes the middle part of the crust isn’t super crunchy BUT the jalapeño flavor is amazing! I add pepperonis, sausage, and onions-it’s DELICIOUS!

It also comes in an “original” and “Italian”, but this is hands down our favorite!

On our trip last week, I read two books…

Her Every Fear-super dark and creepy and not my favorite of the two, if I’m being honest.

Little Secrets-this was the FAVORITE of the two. It’s another thriller and involves a mom whose son gets kidnapped. The entire story is focused on that and while that subject is terrible it was one I wanted to get to the bottom of. If you’re into thrillers, I recommend it!

Don’t mind the chaos happening in the background of this picture but I have a new FAVORITE pair of workout leggings. These come in seven other colors, fit great, are super comfy, and are AMAZON! I found these because Amazon recommended them-how does Amazon always know what I need? And well, I’m so glad he did. 😉

Another quick look…mine are “Ocean Teal”. I got my true to size and they fit great.
