Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
What a WEEK!! WHEW! I’m limping to the Friday finish line today! Our kids didn’t go back to school from Spring Break until Tuesday, then my mom got into town on Tuesday, and we were rodeo bound Wednesday, getting back into town yesterday. It’s been a FUN but outside-the-norm-kind of week. I teamed up with my girl, Andrea, and have a quick list of FAVORITES from my week….

I volunteer in Britt’s kindergarten class every Thursday just doing about an hour or so of anything her teacher needs help with. I hung lots of classwork up this past week because Open House is just around the corner. When I was a teacher, I didn’t know this was a thing but teacher friends, do you do this? Look how easy this is to change out student work by just sliding it onto those paper clips! The name with the clips stays up all year and you can just change the art work out. A FAVORITE way to display work, for sure!

I changed out all the student’s work in about five minutes. {FYI-I have NO idea what this classwork is all about.} SO EASY!

We took an early flight from Houston to Dallas so we got back into town early yesterday. Plenty of time to get the groceries for Shay’s Easy Weeknight Frito Pie. My people were FANS!

Easy Weeknight Frito Pie…absolutely delish!

And some of our FAVORITE people dropped off the Jalapaneo Fritos because they’re absolutely delish and I hadn’t tried them.

My FAVORITE Move It in March Challenge is still happening. There have been two different days this month where I had to try hard to fit in any movement but I thought of you and got it done! Last weekend the boys had four baseball games on Saturday and I popped by the house in between games and decided to go for a quick walk. Anyway, I hope you guys are staying inspired this month too to MOVE IT!

Yesterday, my mom and I went for a walk before the storms rolled in.

Another FAVORITE from my week was the Houston Rodeo! We went with friends to watch the bull ridin’ and Kenny Chesney! YEARS ago, I went to a Kenny Chesney concert in Missouri {and adorned a zebra print cowboy hat} and I don’t think Kenny’s changed a bit.

It was a super quick but really fun little midweek getaway!

I shared the things I packed in my suitcase for Nashville and wore the same things to the rodeo!

Speaking of my love of a rodeo, we watched 8 Seconds with the big kids recently and I loved it just as much in 2023 as I did all those years ago. A FAVORITE!

We have a fun weekend full of football, an elementary school dance, lots of a baseball and two birthday parties! It should be a good one!
XO
What a fun week! Have a great weekend!

We had the Frito Pie last night with jalapeno Fritos too! They’re life changing, right? I would eat some right now if they were at my desk. xx
I love the paper clip idea. I’m a kindergarten teacher & my hallway bulletin board has bright generic paper & border with clips on it. Teacher win that I don’t have to change out the paper & border monthly.
What a busy whirlwind of a week! And.. no.. I didn’t not about the paperclip and swapping out art idea when I was teaching– that’s genius!
OH my goodness, I LOVED 8 seconds in high school. I went through a “cowboy/rodeo” phase and this movie and songs by Chris LeDoux were my jam then. HAHAHA!
Kelly, I went through a similar phase and at the rodeo, I might have whispered to Tab if his career doesn’t work out and he wants to try the rodeo circuit, I’d be okay with it. He looked at me like I was crazy. hahahaha!
I grabbed the jalapeño Fritos last week too, and I had them with chili as well! OMG it was good.
I BET that WAS!!
