Friday Favorites-2.16.24

Hey There!

What a week! This was kind of a doozy. I had kids’ appointments, lots of practices, Valentine’s Day {where all moms try to show a little extra love for her people}, school party, friend party, a cheer banquet, AND a puppy with tummy issues {read between the lines there friends…trying to keep it clean! ha!}. Let me just tell you, the kids have a four day weekend, Tab is home, and the tummy issues seem to be resolving! Not sure I’ve ever been happier!

I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to share some Friday Favorites from my week!

First Friday FAVORITE is this big package of Wicked Good Cupcakes. My mom started sending this Valentine’s Day treat a few years ago and my mom brain forgets it’s coming every year. But when it arrives! I’m just as happy as Britt in this picture! ha! This year there was a mix up in her order and they sent WAY too many cupcakes so the flavor options were endless. I had a salted caramel and well, it was wicked good.

I’m certain I’ve shared this FAVORITE before but it’s been a while. I often get little tension headaches and a friend who’s a nurse practitioner recommended this migraine roller. She said that it’d helped lots of clients. Just this week I bought my second roller!

After years of doing this blog thing, I still haven’t gotten the hang of 4:30 AM versus 4:30 PM! My post on Wednesday published a bit late, but if you missed my top ten things I do on the daily, you can see it here!

This little guy is GROWING! He’s so much bigger than he was in this pic when we first got him. Our boy, Champ, has had a ROUGH week! And it made me think about some of his FAVORITES.

Chew toys are his FAVORITE! And this brand, well, there have been moments of my mommy puppyhood journey I’ve considered buying each and every toy this brand makes. He loves them!

I’ve seen lots of baseball moms posting about the spring season arriving! This week I took Nix and a friend to baseball practice in Dallas. It’s not super convenient BUT the weather was really nice, I walked the track, talked to friends on the phone, and I had a great time watching. I might even say it was nice and relaxing sitting there? Ended up being a FAVORITE moment of the week. While I’ve enjoyed our slower winter weekends, I think what I’m trying to say is I’m looking forward to baseball being back!

Ebby Lee and I attended her freshman cheer banquet last night and what a FAVORITE! I hardly took any pics but I did snag this one before we had to leave! I can’t believe her freshman cheer season is coming to an end so soon!

You guys! I’d borrowed a couple dresses from neighbors but hadn’t tried them on and well, just three hours before the banquet I was PANICKING because none of them worked. I headed to the store STAT and found this dress. I paired it with these shoes {on major sale!}.

The kids have a long weekend so we’re going to enjoy one of our last quiet weekends before the spring season gets started. Happy Friday, Friends!
