It’s FRIDAY! And there are only 21 days until Christmas, friends! I wish there was a way to make this time between Thanksgiving and Christmas just a little longer. Could we have six weeks instead? In Friday fashion, I’ve teamed up with my girl, Andrea, to bring you some FAVORITES from the week.
Here we go, girls…
a FAVORITE outfit from the week…pullover, leggings, boots, and bracelets. I’m always torn to share something before I’ve actually tried it out myself, but in this instance, I’m kicking myself because most of these items were on major sale on Black Friday! Next year, I’ll share what I’m adding to my cart in kind of an enter-at-your-own-risk thing.

This self-tanner is a new FAVORITE! I’m embarrassed to say this but it’s probably been in my closet for two years. Just sitting there because I thought I needed a mitt and well, a mitt is never something I thought about ordering. Until this summer when I reorganized my bathroom closet and voila! A mitt was folded up in the tiny tanner box there the entire time! I like this because you see the color as you apply so you can build and build until the tanner is just the color you’re looking for. It’d make a great addition to a Christmas stocking. Just let the recipient know the mitt is in the box. 😉

Friends, I scored a solid 50% on the advent calendars this year. I promise to share this with you next year sooner because now that I know how good it is-it’s totally worth it. This Body Shop advent calendar I ordered for Ebby Lee was pricier than a typical advent calendar but it contains hand creams, bath bombs, shower creams, shampoos, etc. I like it because she’s not into make-up quite yet and I’m not rushing that. Let them be little, is my mantra! This calendar is perfect because it’s all bath type products without the make-up aspect. There are a few lip glosses or creams but that’s it. Also-let’s talk about cute it is! She opened it when our elf brought it and was so excited! Tween girl moms, remember this for next year!
This storybook advent calendar is what I ordered for Britt. I’ve heard each year Disney comes out with a new one but I’m not sure how many of those books are repeated?
You know the idea of having kids open a book every night leading up to Christmas? That’s exactly what this is but this calendar does the work for you. My Disney obsessed five-year-old is INTO this! And I’ve been having her second grade brother, Bowen, read them for his reading practice. Two birds, one stone…right?
You could absolutely save everything and use this calendar year after year because nothing is getting ripped when it’s opened. We’re being careful and could easily put those books right back inside the paper sleeves.
I will say that we have this Disney Christmas Storybook Collection and so far 2/3 books we’ve opened are in this book. Maybe each year they change it up with a few new books? I’m not sure but Britt is loving it and so is Bowen.
Don’t go thinking I have all my stuff together though because the reason I scored that 50% is the boys calendars still haven’t arrived so they’re using the 99 cent chocolate calendars from Trader Joe’s. Ugh! Again, I promise to share those next year earlier in the year so you can snag them if you’re interested. They’re both sold out now.

I haven’t completed a puzzle in years but a friend dropped this off for us and it was a FAVORITE! Now, I texted her the finished product but I cannot find it to share with you. Promise we finished! Who knew Christmas puzzles would be a FAVORITE but I am HERE for it?!

This is a FAVORITE for my local girls. Shay and I had lunch at The Original ChopShop on Monday this past week. It was my second time eating there and instead of having typical lunch fare I opted for this Zen Bowl…scrambled egg, mushrooms, onions, spinach, cheese, and brown rice. I added a little hot sauce and well, I went back for it yesterday. SO SO GOOD! A new FAVORITE! If you’re local, you should check it out! I realize the picture doesn’t look that appetizing but TRUST ME!

This weekend is looking like a good one. We have a few Christmas things planned to help ring in the season! Happy Friday, Everyone!

What a lovely round up of Advent Calendars, I have a gluten free Gingerbread man one this year with a little gingerbread for each day, then the calendar turns into a Christmas decoration. I love how creative people can be.
We have the same Disney Advent calendar and it has been a big hit! We bought the Frozen themed one for my daughter and the generic Disney one for my son. They're both great!
Those advent calendars are so much fun! I love the Bath and Body one, and I agree, let them be little. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
I love the advent calendar idea!! So cute and fun!

Obsessed with those boots!!!
I've never eaten at The Original Chop Shop. You probably need to take me there.
I went way ambitious with the advent calendars this year. Each of my boys got one like normal (2 Legos, 1 hot wheels), Sephora has a makeup/beauty advent this year I got for my teenage stepdaughter, I got one of the Disney Christmas book advents, and we're doing a reverse advent collecting food items for a food pantry… I may have lost my ever-loving mind! Oh and I also bought like 5 more Christmas puzzles this year 🤭
And your outfit at the top is ridiculously adorable!
Where is the Chop Shop? I need to check it out! That bowl sounds good! And we re-discovered our love for puzzles during quarantine. I need to get a Christmas one!

Those Advent calendars are seriously so cute!!!
Such great favorites! My daughter would have loved to receive the body shop advents calendar!
I'll have to keep it in mind for next year!
Thanks for sharing!

Do you mind sharing when you bought the Body Shop advent calendar? I will be watching for your post next year but would like to mark my calendar too. By the time I think to look at those every year they are sold out. I have 2 tween girls that it would perfect for!
Those advent calendars look fantastic! I just got a Christmas Vacation themed puzzle in the mail and can't wait to put it together.
Looks like a fun Disney book advent! And I love puzzles! Fun idea to do a Christmas themed one. Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend!
