How was your holiday?
I thought about you guys often yesterday and just kept thinking about how thankful I am for each of you who take time out of your day to check in here in this space or listen to our weekly podcast. I truly am thankful for you and hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
Well, we weren’t able to move in last week like we’d hoped. If you were watching the games yesterday, you might have spotted Tab in Detroit and my in-laws were out of town too, so it was just the kids and me for Thanksgiving. The plan of having six out of town guests with a total of fourteen around our Thanksgiving table on Friday {because we were gonna wait for Tab to return} turned out to be way different when the four kids and I were eating leftover pizza while watching football. Even though the day looked different we still had much to be thankful for and my “mom” activity for the day was us going around sharing things we were thankful for mid-football watching. #becauseofcourseidid
Great news though-the crew still has some work to complete on the house but the big things are finished and we’re gonna get settled in our house again today. The master is probably going to be the last space finished so Tab and I will bunk up in a kids’ bedroom again for just a bit more time. We are giddy about FINALLy getting into the new space. Once again, lots to be thankful for.
In Friday fashion, I’ve got a big dose of Friday Favorites for Black Friday with my girl, Andrea, for you! I’m gonna share a few things I grabbed for people in my family…
Target–
Our Dyson cordless vacuum is on it’s last leg so I was PUMPED to see such a good price for one right now!
Walmart–
AirPods-I’m not a technology expert {second or third generation means nothing to me} but I use my air pods all the time so if you don’t have some consider gifting this pair to yourself! A GREAT price!
JCrew-
Pajamas are such a great gift and with everything pricing 50% off right now it’s the perfect time to buy!
Pottery Barn-I mostly was looking at Pottery Barn Teen for a couple things for the boys’ rooms and found these items on sale. Teen/tween boys are a tough age but these are gifts they’re gonna be excited about…
Lighting of all kinds is on sale…all kinds of light fixtures, table lamps, and floor lamps. The enneagram 9 in me has spent hours on the website and keeps getting overwhelmed so I pause. I haven’t placed my order but it’s happening soon.
Dicks Sporting Goods–
These Nike hoodies are on both of my boys’ Christmas wish lists. I found them at Dick’s Sporting Goods for under $42 right now in mens and $28 for children.
Amazon-
One of my kids has an I-pad on their list and I found this one for under $270.
Those are the things that ended up in my cart yesterday amidst football games. 😉
Fanatics-The list is always LONG for the items I grab from Fanatics. From NFL gear to college gear for men, women, and children they have it ALL! And it’s almost all on sale right now! Jerseys are priced GREAT and are selling out quickly! This year I grabbed a couple jerseys for Bowen because they were just a bit more than a sweatshirt after the discount!

Last year I asked my entire family for gift ideas so I’d have something for all the ages covered. I’m sharing it again in case you’re looking for something for a one-year-old or maybe a ninety-two-year-old. 🙂
I’m still looking for some gift ideas so I asked everyone here for one gift idea they’d recommend or one thing on their list. I have some options no matter if you’re shopping for a one-year-old or a ninety-two-year-old.
I’m gonna start with the ladies, but first…have you seen this video? My cousin told me I had to watch and guys, I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s funny because it’s true!
Here are some ideas for the women in your life…
Eye Massager–if you’re a migraine or headache sufferer, I feel you! I have this and use it often. There’s heat, pressure, sound, vibrations, and it almost always helps my headache. On sale right now!
Coffee Cup-have you seen this? You set the temperature on your phone and it keeps your coffee hot while you work.
Next up are the guys-
Wallet–I got a lot of recommendations for wallets. One above is a slim wallet that magnetizes to a cell phone. And this Wallet also gets slim enough to fit into a front pocket.
Griddle-My parents have one of these outside and we had fajitas/quesadillas one night. This little griddle made the cooking/cleaning so easy!
Yeti Backpack Cooler-You know how much Tab loves this!
Kid Gift Ideas {these range in age}-
Nike Air Force 1s-these were on MANY lists!
Air Pod Pros-MAJOR SALE right now!
Lego Sets-LOTS OF LEGOS ON BLACK FRIDAY SALE!
Dribble Up-Have you guys seen these? One of my cousins swears by them and they’re on major sale! Basketball, soccer, and boxing are all available. You use an app to monitor your progress and you continue to work on advancing skills.
VTech Watch-Britt just got this for her birthday and she’s obsessed!

I have seen the SNL skit before but it still had my laughing out loud. The tag still left on the robe is very accurate.
