Happy Friday! We’re rolling into the weekend with not much on our calendar and that makes me extra happy. How about you? Typically our family has a couple weeks in November that are a little more low key before the weekends get busy with holiday festivities and then before you know it…it’s baseball season in our house! Basically I’m here to tell you I’m soaking up the slower Saturdays.
I’m here today with my girl, Andrea, to share five FAVORITES from my week…
First up, a girlfriend recommended this Christmas Advent journey, Emmanuel. I try to change it up every Christmas season with what I read so I’m extra excited to give this a try. Hoping it’s a new FAVORITE! I know many of you guys were on the hunt. See what you think about this one!

Please don’t mind my terrible picture! I’d already taken my make-up off and was about to shower for bed when I remembered I wanted to share these new FAVORITE sweats! These high waisted-wide leg sweats are EVERYTHING! Another girlfriend was wearing these the other day and I thought she looked so cute and put together but still oh, so comfy! There are matching hoodies or crew neck sweatshirts to make a set. Come in lots of colors and would be a great gift!

I know I’m like the last person on the planet or definitely the last person in Texas to finally watch America’s Sweethearts on Netflix, but I finally finished the season. What a FAVORITE! It’s super family friendly and unlike the CMT version of the show this one seemed to give their coaches a much better edit. Kelly and Judy seemed very loving and caring towards the girls where in the other version they come off very cut throat. If you haven’t seen it, give it a watch!

I’m trying something new...this clean laundry detergent! With everything around us these days, I’m strongly encouraged to try to live cleaner BUT it’s super overwhelming. Our laundry is one way to make our lives a bit cleaner. I’ve always been worried about our clothes not smelling fresh with a clean detergent but this smells great. It’s not strong but fresh. A new FAVORITE in our house!

We have a nice weekend ahead…a playoff football game tonight, a Homecoming dance at a local nursing home on Saturday, and we’re celebrating Bowen’s birthday with a friend on Sunday afternoon. Should be a great one! Hope you have a good weekend too!

Yes, to Truly Free! I started using it because melanoma runs deep in my family so I want to be careful what touches my skin. I was hesitant because ‘clean’ laundry detergent don’t work too well on smelly workout clothes, but it does better than Tide! If they are really bad, soaking them in oxyboost is a game changer!
