Hey Hey!
If you’ve been following along via Instagram, then you know Shay and I have been having a blast with our little girls the last couple days. Today, the fun must come to an end and we’re headed home to see our people!
Like always, I’m teaming up with my girl, Andrea, to share FRIDAY FAVORITES! My list is kind of a hodge podge of random, but I hope you enjoy!
First up, Tab and I chaperoned {along with some other parents} the middle school cheerleaders visit to a haunted house. I’m not sure I’ve ever heard louder screams than when a group of seventh and eighth grade girls made their way through. ha! No one else I’d rather go through a haunted house with then this guy, my FAVORITE!

Okay, this isn’t necessarily a FAVORITE but I thought some of you might be looking for a scary movie recommendation that isn’t rated R, but still scary? That is the exact place the Nixon and I were in last weekend so we decided to watch A Quiet Place. It’s rated PG-13 due to the terror with the alien monsters and let me tell you-it was SCARY! Our connection got lost a couple times and at one point Nixon said, “Whew! I needed a break for a second”. hahaha! I did too, Nixon. Ebby Lee didn’t watch-she’s not a fan of scary movies. Nixon and I watched though and it was perfect for a tween who doesn’t scare easily. It was scary! Let me repeat…it was scary! This was a really good fit for us because it didn’t show hardly anything gory but the creepy things were super creepy looking. And it kept us on the edge of our seats. There’s an A Quiet Place 2 and I think Nixon and I must watch!

My FAVORITE #15 had our sweet neighbors come out to watch this past weekend.
A good game high-five afterwards was needed.
This was Nixon’s last regular season game and it was a fun one to watch!
He’s learned a lot this season and more importantly has had so much fun.
He MIGHT have gone a little over board with the eye black for football pics. I wasn’t expecting that when he walked out of the bathroom.
Time is such a thief.

YAY for a fun Monday night! Many of you saw my FAVORITE #110 on your televisions Monday night! 😉

Did you see The Bestie Breakdown Book Club is extending the deadline for our next book? We’ll be sharing a new FAVORITE with you on November 9th. You have plenty of time to finish The Girls in the Stilt House before you listen!
Speaking of The Bestie Breakdown…
Did you listen to the episode this week with Tab and Andrew? If not, you can listen right here!

FYI: When you described that movie to me, I was certain my kids would love it and also certain, I would need to watch an entire Hallmark movie after.
Okay, so first I was sad I couldn’t see your guy ref because I didn’t realize Monday Night Football was only on ESPN which I don’t have (I’m in Detroit, our Lions stink so I rarely keep up except for the Rams where our QB for 12 years went LOL). Second, in that list of refs you showed, Tab’s name isn’t listed. So do they go by different names on the field? 🤔
Hi Toni! I should have specified. The officials on that chart are just the referees (white hats). He’s on Clete Blakeman’s crew. 🙂
Hi!!! Ooohhhhh!! Gotcha! It’s funny because I couldn’t figure out why I knew Clete’s name and well, now I do LOL…thank you for clarifying and refreshing my brain as I knew that name from somewhere. Very neat. Hopefully some day I’ll catch him on network TV! ☺️
I tried to get into the book club book and I couldn't. I did audio book via audible so maybe it was the gals voice reading it. Maybe the next one! I loved the first one y'all did.
