Friday Favorites-10.4.24

Happy Friday, Friends!

How was your week? We had another busy one here…hosted a cheer dinner on Wednesday, two football games, my brother was in town for work and we saw him last night, add in practices, school, and carpool. WAHOO!

As always I’m here with my girl, Andrea, sharing some FAVORITES from the week…

When the calendar says, “Fall”, but the weather outside is screaming, “SUMMER!!”. I found the perfect outfit transitional outfit for those warm days and BONUS if you have red, white and blue school colors. I found this “Muscle Sweatshirt” in blue and I’m wearing a medium. It’s a light weight material with cute detailing around the bottom of the shirt and the arms.

I paired it with some wide ankle jeans. My exact pair are here {sold out} but you can get on the email list when they re-stock. Or you can see all kinds of jeans from this the brand that sells out SO quickly! I actually sized down one size in these because of the reviews.

I’ve been struggling a bit with not wearing exactly what Ebby Lee would wear/looking my age/but still being a bit trendy. So when I found these Vince sneakers in red/white I snatched them up. They’re a new FAVORITE!

Another peek at the transitional look!

I’m telling you…this shirt is a great one with a good price point as well.

Plus tried to share a little pic of everyone’s FAVORITE around our house. 😉

We hosted the JV cheerleaders before their game this week for their pre-game meal and it was a FAVORITE spot in my week! Aren’t they cute?!

Then we got to watch our FAVORITE cheerleader on the sidelines!

Another shoe FAVORITE? These Rothy’s clogs! Let me introduce you to the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned…the Rothy clog.

What sold me on this pair of shoes was the little tortoise shell lining around the bottom. SO cute!

And they look great paired with an ankle jean! I’m in the “dove” and my typical size but if you’re in between sizes, I’d size down.

Now that October has hit it’s getting darker earlier and my reading time is slowly growing. This month I want to read all the thrillers so I asked for your recommendations. These were the most suggested…

The Wrong Sister

Look Closer

The Turn of the Key

No One Can Know

Stillhouse Lake

First Lie Wins

The Reappearance of Rachel Price

God of the Woods

Twenty Years Later

The Teacher

We spent last night watching our FAVORITE leopard win a football game! My brother was in town for work so he popped over to watch as well.

And then I helped Tab and another dad with the chain crew for the second game. I have a few takeaways…1. The view from the field is REALLY good! 2. I should be giving props to EVERYONE who makes a football game happen. 3. The smell down by those players was unreal. hahaha! That’s what I walked away thinking.

Friends, it’s Tab’s first off weekend of the season! WAHOOO! I won’t be going solo to all the sporting events this weekend. The fun kicks off tonight with Friday Night Lights and continues through the weekend. Hope you guys have a great one! See you on Monday!

There is literally too much to say today (our cute cheerleaders, those clogs, so many great books!), but I’m most excited about your chain crew experience 😉 .

THOSE CLOGS! I have some Rothy’s loafers that are crazy comfy, so I can’t even imagine how amazing the clogs must be! Love the muscle tee too.
