HAPPY FRIDAY!
HAPPY ONE WEEK TO HALLOWEEN! I hope you guys have had a good week. Our week was a little chaotic! Due to anticipated storms, Friday night football games got moved to Thursday night games. I feel like we skipped a day or something?! Anyway, I’m here with Andrea, sharing my FAVORITES from the week!
Last Thursday was Nixon’s Pink Out football game and check out the sky!
Those views were definitely a FAVORITE!

We got to watch both teens this week because they played on different nights. Seeing this girl under those Friday Night Lights is always a FAVORITE!

This weekend Nixon took Britt fishing and not only was it a FAVORITE they caught some fish, but as a mom older brother taking little sister somewhere was MY FAVORITE!
I was impressed!

Have you guys tried Shay’s Shepherd Pie Bowls?! If you haven’t, you SHOULD! They’re a Slaughter FAVORITE! This past week, I asked everyone to choose a meal they’d like for dinner.
Bowen: Shepherd’s Pie Bowls-we had them on Sunday evening and they’re delicious! Bowen asked for leftovers in his lunch the next day! {I used three pounds of ground beef, an entire bag of frozen peas/carrots, extra brown gravy packet, and I use the Bob Evans’ mashed potatoes you just have to heat up. SO good and so easy!}
Ebby Lee: Tacos-everyone was also happy this evening.
Tab: White Chicken Chili-so many recipes out there for this. We got a few kid grumblings but I made some pepperoni rolls to go with the soup.
Nixon: Breakfast Casserole-I like this because leftovers become breakfast the next day!
Britt: Chicken Nuggets…I tried a Chick-fil-A dupe recipe and they were good! I served them with fries, salad, and dipping sauces.
Basically, if you’re in a dinner rut too, I’m suggesting asking your family for ideas! It worked so well for us this week!

What are the odds that not only one but TWO high school football games would get moved from Friday to Thursday {I thought we were gonna get really lucky and be able to watch both games this week}?! Apparently, the odds are really good! Yesterday, Tab and I got to see Ebby Lee’s cross town pep rally. They had a big rivalry game with another school in our town last night and in honor of that game, a big pep rally yesterday! Seeing my kiddos do things they love is always gonna be a FAVORITE!

Those were some of my FAVORITE things from the week! Hope you guys have a nice, FALL weekend! I told Tab yesterday that I think the next week might be my favorite on the calendar. Everyone’s yards look SO good, the fall decor is ON POINT, trees still have gorgeous leaves, AND the weather’s been so good here.
