Friday Favorites-10.16.26

*EEEEK!!! I just realized I never clicked, “PUBLISH”, so this is way late! Better late than never?! 😉

HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS! My, oh my! We are doing all the things over here and like I’ve mentioned before this little blog of mine has fallen to the bottom of the priority pile. It’s been a while so I have a lot to catch you up on. Hope you settle in nicely for another Friday Favorites with Andrea where I’ll recap you on the last three-ish weeks of life!

First FAVORITE of the week has gotta be this pic. This was a couple weeks ago now but we’re still spending many of our nights under those lights.

Post-game…four Slaughter boys after a W!

*************************

Meanwhile, I was getting a few snaps of my FAVORITE cheerleader from some mom friends.

She was having a great night too!

Since I’ve last posted, we’ve had not one but TWO Homecoming weeks…

Nixon kicked it off with his Homecoming first. His parade was cancelled due to rain so the first festivity to really kick off the week was the Mum/Garter Exchange.

All the boys in this group….don’t you know they’re LOVING these pictures? ha!

*************************

Right after the Mum/Garter Exchange Nixon went to watch his FAVORITE sixth grader play in his football game.

*************************

The next day was the PowderPuff game where the girls in different grades play flag football to compete to see who’s the winning grade. Nixon was one of the coaches so I went to watch the festivities. It was inside due to rain but they brought the FUN!

The Juniors defeated the Sophomores and then went on to defeat the SENIORS! BIG WIN! My FAVORITE part was watching all the boys on the sidelines cheer. They even stormed the court after the big win!

*************************

That same week Ebby Lee’s Hoco date officially asked her {with friends}. HOCO festivities…FAVORITE!

*************************

Nixon’s Homecoming game was a fun one. Three of his closest friends after the game. 🙂

It was a yucky, rainy night but it all stopped right before kickoff which was perfect!

*************************

The next day was Homecoming for Nixon…good looking group of kids!

So cute-the group was set for outside pictures but with a rainy day they pivoted. This location was a great one!

Football friends all dressed up, looking nice for Hoco!

*************************

The next week kicked off all of Ebby Lee’s Homecoming festivities. She was nominated in the Miss Congeniality court for Homecoming so she rode in the Miss Congeniality truck for the parade. {Hard to see-thanks to my phone.}

*************************

The cheerleaders had a black light pep rally in the gym on Game Day! They did GREAT and all looked oh, so cute sporting their mums at school.

*************************

The BIG night these six senior cheerleaders were all on some kind of Homecoming Court so they got all dressed up at the Team Dinner, came out to “reveal” their looks, and these underclassmen made the beginning of their night ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

A GREAT group of girls!

Tab and Ebby Lee down there…do you see them?

AWWWWW!!! At my high school, we had one main court but when you have six hundred kids in a grade, you have more than one court….Academic, Athletic, Fine Arts, Miss Congeniality/Mr. Nice Guy, and main court.

So MUCH FUN!!

Sorry for all the picture spam with this, but I’m sharing ALL the angles! #proudmom

She didn’t win BUT she looked so cute! She was thankful to just get to be a part of all the fun!

These girlies are all apart of Student Council which put on all the festivities.

WHAT A NIGHT!!

After all that, she changed into her cheer uniform, happened to be Cheerleader of the week, and had a BLAST!

I’m so thankful for these girls and the amazing senior year Ebby Lee is having.

Meanwhile, these cuties were living their best lives on the sidelines.

***********************

We had one of Britt’s FAVORITE activities…her school FUN RUN!! I popped by for just a minute before we left town to get to…

Nixon’s football game! {Some of our games are on the other side of Dallas and with Friday traffic it’s TRICKY!}

We walked away with our first loss of the season but some of Nixon’s baseball friends came to watch which MELTED my mama heart!

***********************

Before I knew it…it was HOCO #2 for the Slaughters…

Senior Homecoming snuck up on me! Her group was looking GORGEOUS!

They met up in Dallas for pictures….these are all the cheerleaders in the group.

What a CREW!

************************

The next day Bowen, Britt and I boarded an early flight with the Shull crew for a couple days at Disney during our Fall Break!

My boys had the ENTIRE week off so Bowen decided to join the girls. {While Nixon had football practice daily.} I’m SO glad Bowen went!

We hit up Epcot, Hollywood Studios…

Where the moms NAILED it on the Toy Story Mania ride. #proof

And then ended our trip at Magic Kingdom where the fall decor is AMAZING!

We had a GREAT time! Disney in the fall is a FAVORITE!

If you’d like to head to Disney with your family, please reach out to us at Mix and Match Travel Agency. While I spend a lot of my days doing mom things, the majority of my work day involves me talking to clients about all things Disney! I’d love to help you too so please reach out!

Okay, friends! That was a fast and furious post catching you up on all the FAVORITES happening around here lately! I hope you guys have a great week! See you back here soon!
