It’s FRIDAY! And this Friday kicks off Fall Break for the Slaughters! Do we have any big plans? Not really! But enjoying some slower days sounds really nice.

Guess who had a BIRTHDAY this week??!
CHAMPION SLAUGHTER!!
Our FAVORITE decided to wake up the whole house on his special day by barking his head off around 5:30 a.m. I kept telling the kids he just wanted to celebrate extra on his birthday. ;). We celebrated by singing, grabbing him a “Pup Cup” from Starbucks, extra walks, and we made a special pallet on the couch just for him.

On my walk this week, I looked up and can you spot who’s standing on the front porch of this house? Wait for it…
Was I spooked? ABSOLUTELY! I stared at that thing until I’d passed. FAVORITE time of year!

And you guys…an oldie FAVORITE. Can you even believe this was just seven years ago? Facebook did me dirty and reminded me of this earlier this week. I mean…WAHHH!!

Thanks to my amazing mother-in-law, M, I’m sneaking off to another football game with Tab this weekend. He snagged us some concert tickets and we’re making a little getaway out of it. Due to that, I’ll see you back here on Wednesday! Have the best weekend!
