Happy HOMECOMING week, Friends! It’s been a busy but oh, so fun week in our house with double Homecomings, my mom in town to help out, lots of cuddling and movie watching with Britt after surgery, and a teensy bit cooler weather!
I’m here with my girl, Andrea, to bring you some of my FAVORITES from the week…
First FAVORITE was getting to watch Britt play in her last softball game. Post-surgery recovery is several weeks so the season will be over by the time she’s cleared to play again. We loved getting to watch one last game!

This patient and her recovery the second time around has been a FAVORITE. Thanks to many prayers by family + friends her recovery has gone so much better. We’re so thankful! While she’s not back to her bubbly self quite yet, she’s not in pain. Huge PRAISE!
Also, friends + family who’ve been checking in on us are another big FAVORITE this week! Thankful for our people today and every day. XO

One of my friends started a pumpkin delivery business last year and I missed out on signing up. I didn’t miss it this year! If you’re local, follow The Porch Fairy so they can make your yard so cute next year! {That white blob in the yard is a blow up ghost situation that lights up.}

Just ONE more school day and ALL my people will be on Fall Break. The Slaughters need a little rest + relaxation after a busy first quarter. I’ll see you back here on Monday!
