Hey there, Friends!
Today is our last official day of Spring Break for all the kids. We’re gearing up for the last quarter of school which always feels like the most chaotic, right? Before I get into all the Paris recaps, I needed to recap our week before Paris. 🙂
Our local elementary school had their family dance and this girl was SUPER excited about it. The theme this year was Boots + Bling and I think we nailed it.
My mom had just gotten into town the day before, varsity cheer tryout results happened that afternoon {and we got GOOD NEWS!}, and Bowen had football practice. All the adults divided and conquered the kid stuff a bit. T-Nonnie got the lucky draw of the dance. 😉
Britt immediately found some friends and hit the dance floor!

Just two days later, Tab and I landed in the Bahamas for a work trip. I did a terrible job taking pics. I’d had such a stressful mom week the week before {think I shared here} and whew, I needed a few days to chill. We stayed at the Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar and had a great time. Tab had meetings throughout the day but I “beached it” with a good friend who was there on the same work trip with her husband.
I paired a little white tank and denim jacket with these pants for the flight.
And then immediately changed into this dress for dinner.
Night two I wore this dress to dinner.
The last night we had a group dinner and I wore this dress.
The water was gorgeous and the prettiest turquoise!
When you have teens and are headed home, you often send pics like this. hahaha!

The day after we got back this handsome guy was up for Career Day at Britt’s school. He got to be on the announcements and Britt got to join him.
