Hey! Hey!
It’s THURSDAY, my favorite day of the week. Today, I’m sharing my Thursday last week!
I took pics every hour-ish {or at least I tried}. Here’s my day…
5:30 a.m.
I started my day with a cup of coffee, my Bible, and this book, Only Love Today. In our swag bags from the Jamie Ivey event were lots of goodies and this book happened to be one. She’s the author of Hands Free Mama…did you read that? So, this book is full of little reminders about not rushing things, enjoying all the moments, and taking time for what really matters.
6:30 a.m.
I woke the crazies, got lunches ready, and ate a Kodiak Protein Waffle with peanut butter/Nutella. One of the most asked questions of the day is what was on my waffle. I wish I could say some sort of sprouts jam infused with almond butter, but it was really just peanut butter and Nutella.
8:30 a.m.
I’d dropped off the big kiddos for school, gotten Britt ready for preschool, and found her attempting to play on an I-Pad. #shetried
9:00 a.m.
I got myself ready and did a quick sweep through/clean-up of the house.
9:30 a.m.
Left my house and headed to our local Starbucks to meet with the other hostess for a special bride’s bridal shower coming up later this year.
My sweater is from Jane.com, but the “deal” is gone. I did see this sweater that looks very similar. Someone asked if I shop there often and the answer is not often, but I do think they have some unique finds for really great prices. I’ve bought lots of personalized gifts for birthdays and such for kiddos, holiday shirts, and a few other things.
For instance, Britt has a couple of these little dresses {I got them at our local flea market last month} and they’re priced great! Super cute too!
10:30 a.m.
Back in the car {with chipped nail polish}, and on to my next stop.
12:00 p.m.
We planned a little lunch for a friend and decided to meet at Legacy Hall. It was my first time and it was SO cute. Think upscale food court. We chatted, encouraged, and had the best little lunch…Shay, Jeni, Meagan, Sheaffer, and Narci.
1:30 p.m.
Back at home…working in the office. I’d tried to work a ton on Tuesday and Wednesday knowing I wouldn’t be at home to work much, but I had some minutes.
2:00 p.m.
Tab walked in! He’d left work early to get his license renewed thinking it would take hours and it literally took him minutes!
3:30 p.m.
Since Tab was home early {WAHOO!}, he took care of the boys while I did carpool for dance with the girlies.
4:00 p.m.
Just the two of us…I grabbed a few more minutes of work while Britt colored in my office.
6:00 p.m.
When I realized the boys were gonna be gone {they ran some errands and then headed to baseball}, I changed up my dinner plans from cooking to girls are going out. I let Ebby Lee choose and she picked La Madeleine.
6:30 p.m.
We found ourselves browsing the aisles for some fun Halloween yard decor. Some of our neighbors have some CUTE yards. Tab and I decided we needed to step our game up a bit. #babysteps
Ebby Lee and I really wanted the witch. Maybe next year…
As of 2018, this girl is NOT a fan of witches. 🙂
Side note…Home Depot didn’t have many bigger things for the yard left so they took a display apart for me {and were so nice} and marked it down 50%! If you’re on the look out for some yard decor, you should check them out!
8:00 p.m.
We stopped by my in-laws’ house on the way home to grab something. Then Ebby Lee and I attempted putting on Britt’s Halloween costume because she was wearing it to Madeley’s party the next day and she HATED it!
8:30 p.m.
I read Britty two Halloween books and then put the girls to bed. The boys went to our local high school football game for a bit after practice, so they got home way past their bedtime.
9:30 p.m.
I got ready for bed and read until 10:00…then it was lights out!
That was my Thursday.
See you tomorrow for Friday Favorites!
XO

Ollie's Halloween is a favorite around my house!
Well, this was just delightful! Loved seeing your day, cute sweater, cuter kids and eating out for both lunch AND dinner, sign me up!!;). And, just curious, why is Thursday your favorite day?
I keep having the same thing at Legacy Hall, the Waffle Cristo Sandwich – like a Monte Cristo sandwich with waffles. It’s delicious.
I think I’m pretty busy but you win. 😁
