Celebrity Big Brother Recap

It’s no secret I have a strong love for the CBS reality show, Big Brother. It’s been gushed about many times. I know. I know. I’m aware. If you’ve never watched the show the entire premise is house guests enter the Big Brother house and compete to become the Head of Household, earn the Veto, and fight to not get voted out each week. The “Celebrity” edition of Big Brother is always a little different. Instead of the final two house guests being inside the Big Brother house foreighty-five days, on the “Celebrity” edition, the final two are inside for 29 days. We’re currently down to the final days so in honor of the last week of the show, I thought I’d do a little recap with some of my favorite moments and thoughts about each house guest.

Spoilers are happening-stop reading now if you need to catch up on the show and then come back to the post. 🙂

Carson Kressley, Emmy award winning TV personality

Raise your hand if Carson has your vote for America’s Favorite Player! MMMEEEE!!! His knee-slapping {yes, I just said knee-slapping} commentary in the Diary Room kept me laughing throughout each episode. I’ll be shocked if he doesn’t earn a check on finale night declaring him America’s Fave!

Chris Kirkpatrick, Member of N’Sync

It was obvious from the moment Chris stepped in the house he was a true fan of the show. I appreciate the fact he realized the entire season was going to be boring to watch if he didn’t get the house to flip. I mean I REALLY appreciate it! Due to his shake-up, he was saying, “Bye, bye, bye”, way too early.

Cynthia Bailey, Model and Real Housewives of Atlanta

As a Real Housewives of Atlanta fan, I was the most excited to watch Cynthia interact with others inside the Big Brother House. She is absolutely gorgeous and is typically dressed to the nines. When she had to kickoff the season with that Mon Won purse hat, I couldn’t help but think why could the Big Brother producers come up with nothing better than that to represent the twist? That was crazy, right? And so random!

Lamar Odom, NBA Player and was married to Khloe Kardashian

When he talked about Khloe, I got nervous. Anyone else? I hope Khloe saw it and thought it was sweet. Lamar brought some of the biggest laughs for me this season. He had this special ability to be over halfway through this reality show and still have no idea what the rules to the game even were. Periodically he’d say something that would have me rolling.

Miesha Tate, UFC Fighter

Are you hearing the Rocky theme song when her face appears? This girl is GOOD! She’s almost too good for the show. Winning her fourth HOH is going to make it really hard for anyone sitting beside her on finale night to have even a bit of a fighting chance.

Mirai Nagasu, Olympic Medalist

On night one, I would have chosen Mirai to be the one I predicted to win at the end. She had that competitive spirit that was going to make her possibly outwit, outplay, and for sure outlast any other house guest.

Shanna Moakler, Former Miss USA

I feel pretty terrible for her. I’m still a bit confused about why Shanna playing both sides infuriated Carson and Cynthia so much? That’s the name of the game and she’d chosen their side with no questions asked. I’ve got no doubts Julie will get this answered for us on finale night!

Teddi Mellencamp, Previously on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I always wonder how the house decides who has to be first? She seemed super upset to be leaving on the first night. Who can blame her?

Todrick Hall, Entertainer

Todrick has been one of the most entertaining guests this season. He’s built great friendships with each and every house guest. His social game would give him ALL the money if the jury voted on social game alone. I’m nervous about him sitting beside Miesha at the end. That duo on finale night will be tough {if that’s who makes it}.

Todd Bridges, Actor on Diff’rent Strokes

That “Teletubby” outfit from one of the latest veto competitions. That was hilarious!

Chris Kattan, Comedian

In true Chris Kattan fashion, he brought the jokes. When he talked about Todd’s snoring, that was hysterical!

Okay, if you’re voting on finale night and you have the remaining three to cast your vote for-who are you choosing? Todrick, Miesha, or Cynthia? With the finale airing tonight we don’t have to wait long to see who’s crowned the winner this season!

If you’re watching this season, let me know what you think about the show!

Have a great day, everyone!

Oh my gosh, I love this show. I loved Carson so much, he will definitely be America’s Favorite in my opinion!

Lamar really touched my heart, he is just trying to do better than he did before and he loves Khloe so much! When he said Todd is now his sober coach! Ugh so sweet

Todrick as HOH and putting up the nominees had me rolling. Todd was so unamused I couldn’t stop laughing.

I have a feeling I know who will win and it’s not necessarily my first choice but that’s okay! 🙂 It’s been a fun 29 days!

I have not watched a single season of BB, but for some reason I started watching this season because of you and I’m HOOKED! Im not loving Meisha so my vote is for Tod if they are the last 2 standing. Please do a mini recap in FF! Can’t wait to hear your final thoughts!

Susan! I love this! Okay, if you liked Celebrity Big Brother, then you have to watch this summer. It’s always so much better than the “Celebrity” edition just because all the guests are there to really play. If it’s Miesha and Todrick in the end, it’d be so hard! His social game versus her game wins!

I have loved every part of this season!! I loved Carson and had a huge soft spot for Lamar. Since Cynthia will probably not be a choice, I would vote for Todrick! Did anyone else see how nervous Miesha got when Julie said America votes if there’s a tie?? I think she knows she might not be everyone’s favorite and I really don’t have any reason not to like her just a lot of others were so much more likeable IMO. 🙂

I hope Cynthia wins … but that’s highly unlikely!

I’ve really loved this season. Carson was my favorite, and I enjoyed Todd and Lamar far more than I would have imagined.

    Can’t wait for tonight’s finale!
