A first happened in the Slaughter house yesterday…we had a GRADUATION!!! Ebby Lee graduated from preschool. She was SO excited about it before drop off.
Our crazy car headed to school.
Ebby Lee’s class walked in first and waited until all the classes were in before sitting down.
Ebby Lee held a flag during the Pledge of Allegiance.
Super hard to see….but Ebby Lee’s class and another class (Kensington’s class) sang a song.
Ebby Lee and her sweet friend, Molly, waiting to get their diplomas!!
E’s class and K’s class took turns calling a kiddo up. It just so happened (because of their last names) that Kensington went and then it was E’s turn. I just thought it was fun! 🙂 K was rockin’ the curls. Her hair looked fabulous!
Ebby Lee with her sweet teachers. She had a GREAT year and we loved her teachers!!
Even though Molly’s face isn’t showing it, she had a great year too! haha!
SO proud of this girl!!!
After snapping pictures of E, this is what I found by my seat! ha!
ALL the graduates joined up for a fun song at the end. It was such a cute little program.
Then we went back to E’s class for a little reception.
Table of friends 🙂
Sarah is one of my sweet mama friends. The last two years her daughter, Molly, has been in E’s preschool class. They’ll also be at the same elementary school next year (along with sweet Kensington). As sad/nervous/anxious (and every other emotion…haha!) that I am, I know those three little friends will have a BLAST next year! I’m SO excited for them to make such FUN memories!!
M (took off a day of work) and G came to watch our big graduate!
Someone MIGHT have a certain someone wrapped around her finger a little bit…huh?? Sweet G read to several of the little ladies in the class.
After graduation, this guy and I had a lunch date. Mama NEEDED a burrito!! haha! #keepinitreal
Then Bowen and I stood in line FOREVER for Mr. Geek Squad to get finished with a guy’s cell phone. Bowen was SO cranky. Mr. Geek Squad kept apologizing because my adorable baby was screaming!! haha! Luckily, it took him less than two minutes to fix my computer. SO thankful!!!
I picked E up from preschool so we could go to the grocery store. Her exact words, “Can we get some graduation balloons so you can celebrate me at dinner?”…hahaha!! Sure, why not get a balloon or two?? #yesmom Right, Andrea??
Yesterday was an AWESOME first for the Slaughter Family!!! Looking forward to spending ALL summer with my girl!!
*Also…I’ll be finishing my Disney World recaps in the next week or two. I’ve had lots of questions. I am by NO MEANS a Disney pro!! But…I just went and took three little kiddos so if you have a question, leave it in a comment or e-mail it to me. (alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com) I’ll try to do a post answering ALL the questions. Thank you!!! Have a GREAT weekend!!
It just feels like yesterday that we were super pregnant and touring that preschool with Carrie Baller…and now, they're done. It has flown by! Our babies are so big now!! And how did I not see Gary and Marla…I had no idea they were there! Happy Graduation Ebby Lee!
How are all of our kids headed off to kindergarten? We'll turn around and they'll be headed to middle school, and THAT makes me want to bawl my head off. The pics today are too cute. My favorites are the boys at the graduation in the seats and the one of EL and Molly! SO CUTE!
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! SO SO SO BIG!!! How are all our kiddos about to be in Kindergarten?!?!?! SIGH. At least we still have a few more years with the babies 🙂
Such a cute post….that Ebby lee is just adorable and yay for 4K graduation, how fun! Also, her little friend Molly is just so cute too and she is rockin those cowboy boots…Love!!!
What a fun celebration! Congrats to your daughter! (PS – I love their shirts, what a fun special touch to their graduation.)
Aww yay for graduation…they have way more "pre-K" classes than I thought (I didn't know they were all split up). That's awesome she is going to Kinder with that many friends…will make a huge difference. Next time you see me, tell me where she's going to school next year…I used to teach in McKinney so curious which one it is (don't have to say on internet :))
