*I’m posting this a couple days early because I don’t usually post on the weekends.*
In just three short days, this sweet girl of mine turns eight. Miss Ebby Lee Slaughter was born on April 9, 2009, a couple weeks early because my blood pressure was on the rise. She rocked our world. {Any other newbie parents worlds changed dramatically?! ha!} She completely stole our hearts at the same time so it was all worth it. 🙂

Ebby Lee has gotten really into playing “school”. She loves arts, crafts, basketball, dancing, and reading.
She’s usually very quiet and more on the reserved side by far, but when push comes to shove she can stand up for herself and others.
Ebby Lee is a people-pleaser, rule follower, and always gives everything her best.
She has the best sense of humor! 🙂
She’s an AMAZING big sister. She lets her brothers sleep in her room every night because they’re too scared to sleep in their own room.
This year for her birthday she chose to bypass the big party with lots of friends and opted for a girl’s day with a friend and me! We’ve got big plans to hit up the nail salon, the mall for some shopping, and a yummy birthday dinner.
