2025 Recap

Hey! Hey! Hey!

I hope you guys had a great couple weeks surrounded by your favorite people! We had a good break and like always, I’m popping back into this space renewed, refreshed and REALLY excited about being here with you again in 2026!

Before we look forward to ALL THINGS NEW YEAR, I always like taking a peek back at what 2025 had in store for our family….

January:

We rang in the New Year visiting our Missouri family!

The grandkids {turned great-grandkids} were there too celebrating 2025!

Later in the month, Nixon celebrated his first high school season of baseball at Lovejoy!

February:

Brought MANY days of this…

I had NO idea what to expect when it came to school baseball but we all loved it. We enjoyed spending time with all the baseball families, loved watching the games, and were excited about being a part of a new sports team.

Baseball wasn’t the only sport on our calendar. Britt played winter basketball with her school friends.

Ebby Lee and I had a BIG cheer trip for her school to Walt Disney World!

She was there with some of her closest friends while…

I got to hang with some of mine. 🙂

February also brought Ebby Lee’s Winter Formal dance {where pictures were REALLY windy}

as well as an adorable group of dancers in the elementary talent show. 🙂

March:

Tab and I attended a work trip for him in the Bahamas.

A few days later, Ebby Lee, my mom and I had an epic Girl’s Trip to Paris for Spring Break!

We got back just in time to see Brooks & Dunn at the Houston Rodeo.

Meanwhile, Bowen’s baseball season was well under way and they’d snagged some big wins!

April:

April brought MANY more days at the ball fields with friends,

cool shots,

and MORE WINS!

Ebby Lee turned SIXTEEN!

Tab and I had another work trip but this time it was in Scottsdale, Arizona.

We made it back in time to celebrate Nixon turning FIFTEEN!

We had exciting school days!

And celebrated Easter together as a family of six with ALL of us in attendance.

May:

We celebrated a friend’s new BOOK RELEASE!

Had MORE baseball….are you sensing a spring theme?!

Nixon had his first baseball banquet!

We got to watch our favorite varsity cheerleader cheer at her first Spring Game!

And then we watched Nixon’s team in his Spring Game as well!

We wrapped up another spring season of softball with some of our favorite visitors.

And ended ANOTHER great school year!

We kicked off the first week of summer with Britt at Cheer Camp!

While Ebby Lee was at her own Cheer Camp!

June:

Bowen’s baseball team had a tournament outside of town and I got to spend time with some of my favorite baseball mama friends while he played.

Then Tab and I snuck off to Italy for another work trip!

July:

We started the month by taking a little family getaway to Carlton Landing…

before spending our 4th of July weekend at the ballfields,

hanging with the most handsome pup,

and catching these views with friends in our neighborhood.

We spent a week in Amelia Island, Florida,

and then 2/3 of my boys were in Atlanta for a week at {another} baseball tournament.

When they returned, Ebby Lee and I headed out with friends on a College Tour Road Trip while…

Bowen attended summer camp with a friend.

August:

4/5 of my favorite people took me to dinner to celebrate my birthday while Tab was at Training Camp.

We geared up for an amazing varsity season of cheer…

and were so excited about lots of friends in Britt’s class in third grade!

We were able to celebrate Tab’s birthday right before school and the chaos of fall began!

Tab, Bowen and I kicked off the Lovejoy football season by going to Lubbock for the first game and a Texas Tech tour.

CRAZY fun way to kickoff the season!

While Ebby Lee kicked off her first varsity game as well!

September:

In September, Bowen got to participate in school football!

Britt attended McKinney Boyd’s Cheer Camp!

And I joined Tab for his Monday Night Game in Chicago.

We got to enjoy a fun {AND HOT} Oktoberfest in McKinney before the month was over.

October:

Softball season wrapped up for this one,

and we had a SKIP DAY from school for a FAIR DAY before she had surgery.

We were able to attend Nixon’s Homecoming Game…

AND Ebby Lee’s Homecoming Game!

What are the odds these Homecoming dates fell on THE SAME DAY?! Ebby Lee and her date…

Nixon and his.

During Fall Break, I tried to keep up with these two at the Megan Moroney concert.

We enjoyed any time on the patio we could get in the fall…

and I spent my Halloween trick-or-treating with THE cutest, Judy Hopps.

November:

Tab and Ebby Lee snuck away for a college visit to Ole Miss.

We got to see our favorite cheerleader at her last game of the season!

We celebrated Britt turning TEN with friends!

Watched this guy wrap up his football season!

Caught Ebby Lee’s first cheer competition of the season where they snagged FIRST!

Took a trip to Nashville for some FUN and football watching!

Then I snuck away on my own with co-workers to Walt Disney World for our Mix and Match Travel trip.

Our Thanksgiving was just the six of us at home but our Black Friday was spent at the wedding of our oldest nephew and his new bride.

December:

EVERYONE on Tab’s dad’s side of the family was in attendance for our family Christmas this year.

We got to enjoy our framily carriage ride tradition again this season!

Our Christmas Eve tradition of the Christmas Eve service…

followed by dinner out was extra magical this year.

2025 was a good one! Super thankful for my time spent with the people I love most!

Please know I’m praying for many blessings for you and your family in 2026!

Thanks for joining me! Praying it’s the best one yet!

XO
