If you guys are like us, Tab and I will get a babysitter and have a dinner out in the books. As we’re heading out the door we’ll play the “Where do you wanna go?” game. We can’t think of a new place. We tend to get in a rut and always head to the same places for date night.
You might not be local, but odds are you’ve been to Dallas, know someone who lives close, or are coming to visit soon, so I thought it’d be not only fun but helpful if we all shared our favorite date night restaurants. I’m thinking the entire Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
I absolutely LOVE my children, but date night with the hubby is a breath of fresh air. Amen, Mamas?
This one made me laugh. Those kids can get pricey!! But trust me, investing in your marriage even if it’s by paying a babysitter so you can have a night out alone is WORTH IT!!

It’s a really “cool” restaurant. Mexican is our fave and this place is just fun.

This is a gourmet Mexican restaurant and the food and atmosphere is great! It’s definitely one of our FAVES!
We went to Eddie V’s for a double date night back in the summer and had the best time. We don’t drive to Dallas very often just for dinner, but when we do, we’re never disappointed.
Sometimes date night are even more fun with friends!
On our last visit, in the middle of my salad I got a call from the babysitter saying that two of my kids were locked out the little balcony we have on the second story of our house. She went on to say that she couldn’t get to them because the doors to get there were also locked. Did I panic? No, because we were at Rick’s and it’s delicious. 🙂 And apparently I can describe to someone over the phone how to pick a lock. Impressed?

If you’re not local, please leave your favorite place but just include where that’s located. Someone else might be from around those parts and truly be thankful for your recommendation. I have a feeling after your suggestions I’m gonna need my babysitter on speed dial. 🙂
