What’s Up Wednesday-Christmas Edition

Hey!  It’s time for What’s Up Wednesday-just a bit early.  🙂
I’m joining Mel, Shay, and Sheaffer and answering all these questions…

What We’re Eating This Week…

Monday:  Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village for Framily Night.

Tuesday:  Spaghetti was on the menu at Nixon’s request.  This week I was OVER coming up with a meal plan…so I asked for help.  Nixon must have been the lucky kid that answered first.

Wednesday:  This evening we have fun plans to take the kids ice skating so we’ll have dinner out.  #again  #tistheseason

Thursday:  Shay’s Spicy Chicken Corn Chowder…Tab requested a soup.

Friday:  We have some more Christmas fun planned on Friday as well.  Kitchen closed again.

What I’m Reminiscing About…
All the Christmas memories from 2017.

What I’m Loving…
The family fun nights we’ve been having lately!  Our elf brought a new pack of Uno cards so we had game night on Sunday evening.

We declared this the loser couch…somehow Tab and I both lost every single game.  It’s really a shame because I totally thought my Uno skills were as good as my trash talking.  NOT the case!

And this girl can make a pouty face like no other!  hahahaha!  She decided she wanted to be on the loser couch with us.  😉

What We’ve Been Up To…
This past weekend we met up with the Shull Six for a little framily dinner and a walk around Watters Creek.
 #allthelights

Britt was with me at the hair salon earlier this week and Mrs. Jessica had a few extra minutes to trim her hair just a bit.  She’d seen me sitting in the chair so she hopped right up and was super still.

Looking so big with her new little trim.  🙂

And we had our THIRD ANNUAL FRAMILY CARRIAGE RIDE NIGHT earlier this week as well.
We met the Shull Crew in Highland Park Village for an early dinner.  Here I am overly smiling in hopes it encourages Madeley to smile.  WHY do I do that?

And then we made our way over to the carriage ride.  This area is so pretty all lit up at night, there’s that Christmas excitement in the air, and it’s really one of my favorite nights of the year!

Their faces!!  That’s how I feel about this night too!

Seriously, SO MUCH FUN!

What I’m Dreading…
Nothing at the moment…it’s the most wonderful time of the year!

What I’m Working On…
This is SO ME!!!
hahahahaha!

What I’m Excited About…
A few weekends ago the Downtown McKinney Christmas parade was cancelled due to yucky weather and it’s been rescheduled for tomorrow night…we’re looking forward to it!

What I’m Watching/Reading…
I’m reading The Christmas Sisters right now.  I got myself sucked into a Christmas book hole at the moment.  haha!

In case you’re wanting a fun Christmasy read, here are the books I’ve read this season…

Tab and I have been watching this, The Innocent Man, on Netflix.  SO GOOD!!  I tried to get into Making a Murderer but it was just so long…I couldn’t do it.  This is only six or seven episodes and so far-each episode has left us with a new nugget of information.  If you’re into Dateline, WATCH THIS!

What I’m Listening To…

ALL CHRISTMAS MUSIC.  ALL THE TIME.
#still

What I’m Wearing…
I’m still wearing my Sheaffer top on repeat!

My coat {and on sale!!!} and beanie are getting lots of love too!

And my Christmas pajamas are getting lots of wear right now too!

What I’m Doing This Weekend…
We’re celebrating Christmas with Tab’s side of the family.

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month…
This is us last year on January 1st…we have some fun things planned for our new year and I’m ready for it!

What Else is New…
The NEW year is right around the corner and like the beginning of every year my plan is to get super duper organized in every single nook and cranny of my life.  Wish me luck!  😉

Hope you guys have a great Wednesday!
XO
