What’s Up Wednesday-August 28th, 2019 Edition

I’m linking up today with Sheaffer and Shay for What’s Up Wednesday.

What We’re Eating This Week…

Monday:  Crockpot Chicken Tacos-fall sports have officially started this week so my slow cooker is my BFF.

Tuesday:  Taco Chili…we happened to have a little cool front sweep McKinney {I’m talking temps in the low 80’s so a soup was a must around here}.

Wednesday:  Tonight Angel Chicken is being served!

Thursday:  Chipotle Chicken Tostadas are up!

Friday:  No clue…I haven’t even thought about Friday night.

What I’m Reminiscing About…
Just a year ago Britt had her very first Meet the Teacher for preschool.  Now, a year later we’re about to have Meet the Teacher #2…she’s changed so much in the last year.  She’s talking so much more.  Partly because we’re working hard and partly because her confidence is so much higher.  She’s not afraid to try new sounds and give it a shot.  Super proud of this girl!

What I’m Loving…
That College GameDay is back on!  And according to how many messages I got after posting this picture on Saturday…you guys are loving it too!

What We’ve Been Up To…
Did you see I was at Walt Disney World last week?
You see Part One and Part Two.

What I’m Dreading…
Dare I say HOMEWORK?!

What I’m Working On…
Magical vacations for families like YOU!

We’d LOVE to help you with an upcoming vacation too!  Please e-mail us at mixandmatchtravelagency@yahoo.com to get more information.  Cruise?  Walt Disney World?  European vacation?  And more!  Let us help!

What I’m Excited About…
These glasses take me back to being nine-years-old and wanting glasses.  Are they blocking the blue light?  I have no clue, but I wear them often while I’m working to fulfill my nine-year-old glasses dreams.

.
What I’m Watching/Reading…
Anyone else?  Let’s talk Big Brother….

*This season started out really slow for me, but I think it’s getting good!
*Who are you cheering for?  At this point, I think I’m a Tommy fan!
*Christy versus Nick…who is going home tomorrow?
*Zingbot is my favorite episode every season!

Did you see my Summer Reads 2019 post?  I just shared a great list of books I read over the summer.  If you need a recommendation, check it out!

What I’m Listening To…
Is it weird to say we’re getting into the spirit and have been listening to Halloween music?
#toosoon?

What I’m Wearing…
I’ve been wearing this comfy romper on repeat.

And this dress is in the rotation as well.

What I’m Doing This Weekend…
We’ll be spending our last weekend in the pool before we go ALL IN FALL!

What I’m Looking Forward to Next Month…
I know football season just “officially” started but we’re ready for it!  Every year we try our best to tag along to one or two of Tab’s games.  Next month, I’m headed to a game and then later in the month the boys are going along with him.  It’ll be a fun September!

Thanks for reading today!
XO

Halloween music for me! It’s hard not to when I am spending my day finalizing plans for fall vacations. That’s my excuse anyway. 😉

I get this out at the start of every school year. “25 ways to make homework easier tonight.” And I have five children who are ages 16-23.

Oh I am so glad I don't have to deal with homework anymore… I'm sure we'll have plenty to tackle next year but for right now I am glad to be done with that! LOL.
