Weekend Recap

On Friday, Kensington & Shay hosted a girls-only Valentine’s Day party.  So…Nixon and I invited Smith and Carter to come over for some heart-shaped Papa Murphy’s pizza, cookies, and BOY time!

This was the ONLY pic when they were all looking and smiling, but it was SO blurry!!!  I tried again…like 5 more times…

Smith and Carter were loving Nixon’s robotic dog he got for Christmas.  They couldn’t look away!  ha!

He was watching it ALL go down.

After the party and a little rest time, I thought it’d be the perfect afternoon for a little bike ride.  We clearly haven’t been outside in a while.  Mom Fail #1…I forgot to make them wear their helmets.  We were on the sidewalk the entire time, but I still think I’m supposed to be teaching them about safety!  Mom Fail #2…our neighborhood has several hills.  I was pushing Bowen in the stroller and had a panic attack trying to stop both kids on bikes WHILE stopping Bowen in the stroller ALL going down the hill TOO quickly!!  This is the first time Nixon and Ebby Lee both wanted to ride bikes.  Whew!  I’ll learn next time!

We got home just in time for Tab to arrive.  We started our new Valentine’s Day tradition with dinner at Cracker Barrel!  YUMMY!!  We all snuggled up and watched a movie on the couch after dinner.  THE perfect night!

Saturday, Ebby Lee had a birthday party to celebrate sweet Maggie turning 3!  Sarah had the cutest ballerina party!  The girls had so much fun!

Our town has a little flea market once a month.  Saturday afternoon we all headed out there because it was SO pretty outside.  I didn’t find any treasures BUT the weather was perfect!!

Sunday morning after church…Bowen got to walk to the car.  He thought he was BIG stuff!!

Sweetest Picture 🙂

Sunday evening, Dave (Andrea’s husband) hosted a surprise 30th birthday party for her!  It was SO much fun!  In the middle, Ebby Lee asked if she could borrow my phone to take some pictures of her friends.  Oh my goodness!!!  These girls!

More of the random pictures via the children 🙂

I LOVE these girls and am so thankful for each and every one of them!!  We had a blast celebrating with Andrea.  Hope you had a GREAT night, girly!!  We love you!!

And…kudos to her hubby!!  He did a fabulous job!!

This picture cracks me up!!!  She might have had a LITTLE help blowing out the candles!

Hope you had a GREAT weekend!!!
