Tuesday’s Top Three, a GIVEAWAY, & Pin-Spired

It’s October 1st!!  Can you believe it??  I’m sure it’s the teacher in me, but I love holidays.  Love decorating, watching holiday movies, holiday crafts, and holiday clothes!!  As cheesy as it might be, I searched and searched Pinterest for the perfect Halloween outfit.  You know you’ll be going to your kids’ parties at school, out to trick-or-treat, or to the pumpkin patch.   You don’t want to be screaming, “Happy Halloween” but some kind of orange and black outfit would be adorable!  I found just a FEW things on Pinterest.
These are my Top Three Halloween Pinterest Inspired Outfits this year…
My first year of teaching preschool I bought a jack-o-lantern shirt very similar to this one at Target.  I just wanted to be cute for the 3-year-olds!!  But…I paired it with jeans and funky black pants.  This year…I’m going to wear it with my black/white maxi skirt.  I’m not sure WHAT that green feather hair piece is all about, but I think the pumpkin shirt, jeans, cardigan, and leopard flats would be too cute!
In 2011, Halloween fell on a Sunday (I think).  Anyway, I dressed us all in black/orange/white for church.  I’m sure Tab was thrilled about that!!  ha ha!
Trick-or-Treating 2011

Stripes are SO in right now!  A black/white stripe shirt, jeans, and boots.  So cute!!  In Texas, the vest and jacket are pretty much unrealistic in October, but I absolutely LOVE the stripes with the touches of orange!
Love the black/white shirt with the orange cardigan.  Again, the grey vest would be SO cute, but SO unnecessary in Texas.  ðŸ™‚
Hope you guys found something to inspire you this year!!

And now…for my 1st ever…A GIVEAWAY!!!

Somehow through the blog world, I met Elaine, over at Honey Pie Accessories.  We actually went to the same college at the same time!!  (But we didn’t know each other then.)  So…we’ve now become old college friends (hope that’s ok, Elaine, that I’m calling us old college friends!  ha!).  Anyway, Elaine blogs about her sweet family.  She has a football working hubby, three sweet girls, works as a speech pathologist, AND she has a business!!  That girl is crazy busy!  Elaine makes the cutest hair bows, headbands, and even custom clothes.  She has the CUTEST stuff!!  I ordered Ebby Lee a Halloween headband and Elaine added one for a giveaway.  Thank you, Elaine!!  I’m so excited about somebody getting this super cute headband for their daughter to wear this holiday season!!

Isn’t it cute??  I love the pumpkin and the extra bling!!

Here are the rules…enter the Rafflecopter below.  I’ll be announcing the winner on Saturday.
  Good luck everyone!!

I’m also linking up to…

to Shay, Sheaffer, and Mel.

Allison at Get Your Pretty On just blogged yesterday about how pastels are “in” for the fall/winter this year.  How funny!!  Because that’s what I wore to link up for the Pin-spired Party!  Here’s the inspiration…

It’s like the WORST picture ever, but go with it.  The kiddos and I were running SO late for church.  I remembered as I was walking out the door that I needed to take a pic.  Whew!!  It definitely isn’t the best…but pastel orange/coral leggings with a grey tank and grey sequin sweater.

Feet shot…nude flats and leggings.

And…one more thing…

LOVE THIS!!!  Happy October 1st!

When I saw your post this morning on my phone, I thought the sequin top was a dress! Then I read on and realized you had on coral leggings, and my heart continued beating again! Thanks so much for doing the giveaway!!! And yes, we're new old friends!
