My Top Three today is all about “Fall Foods”. But…when I started writing there ARE so many more than three I felt like I should include!! So…I’m doing my Top Three meals that remind me of fall and then I threw in a couple extras.
#1. This is my ALL-TIME favorite soup ever!! It’s the Mix and Match Mama’s Enchilada Soup. YUMMY!! It has the perfect amount of spicy flavor for a crisp fall evening.
#2. This meal doesn’t scream “fall”…it screams “ALL YEAR LONG”!! Another recipe from Mix and Match Mama, her BBQ Baked Chicken Tacos. I made these the other night and oh my goodness!! BBQ sauce, chicken, green onions, and cheese…the perfect match made in heaven!! They were the most tasty tacos ever!! You need to try these tonight! Trust me!!
#3. I found this recipe on Pinterest for Creamy Tortellini Soup. I pin ALL kinds of recipes and rarely ever make them. One day the in-laws were coming over for dinner and I thought I’d give it a try. Well…let’s just say that I’m making dinner for my MIL this week and she requested this soup! I thought it was blog-worthy if she was requesting it, right? It was really tasty and with the spinach and tomatoes…it was a little healthy too, right?
#4. Mix and Match’s BBQ Joes. I should really stop right there. They’re THAT good. If Shay wasn’t my friend before…after this recipe she would be! Anyone who requires me to eat a mixture on top of that garlic toast is a friend of mine. 🙂
#5. One of my children’s very favorite meals!! Do you guys make mummy dogs?? After making these a couple weeks ago, Nixon told me “Mom, you’re the best cooker ever.” ha!!
Hope you found a new recipe you can try this fall!! If you have any great fall recipes, please share them with me!! I’d love to give them a try!
I am so happy you and your family like my recipes!! However, last night, Kensington asked for a bowl of cereal for dinner and after she ate it, she said I was the best cook ever. Seriously. I need her to read your blog today. 😉
We love making mummy dogs-it's a Halloween tradition! 🙂 I am adding your creamy tortellini soup to my recipe book! Love Shay and her fabulous recipes! 🙂
I've made that tortellini soup from Pinterest before and it IS SO GOOD! I'm making mummy dogs with my girls for our little Friday night Halloween party! (And, we're painting pumpkins!)
Laughed so hard at the recipe screaming "ALL YEAR LONG"! Hilarious!!!!
Don't we love Shay and her awesome recipes?! I almost forgot about those mummy dogs! We will have to make them soon! Love it!!
