The Polar Express Adventure

Friday night we headed out on a much anticipated Christmas adventure!!  (We got the tickets WAY back in October so it felt like forever.)  We met up with the Shull’s for our trip to the North Pole on the Polar Express.  🙂  Neither of us had every taken our kiddos to do this so we were all rookies.  We met up for dinner first and my kids were NUTS!  They were SO excited they could hardly stand it!  hahaha!

This picture looks like we’re at a rock concert or maybe a club with crazy fun lighting, but really we’re on a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the train station.  #momlife

All 5 of our crazies (and soon to be 6)!!  I saw in a picture Shay’s kiddos had those snowman pajamas.  My kids already had them too, so we planned on them all wearing them together.  I thought they looked adorable, but I am a little bias.  🙂

We had to arrive a little early, so we killed some time like this….with kids on our heads while singing Christmas carols…the girls that is, not the hubbies.  hahahaha!

Bowen is a BIG train fan.  He was pumped about getting on the “choo choo”.

Kind of blurry, but I love that he stopped to high five the elves!

All the boys…on the train they played Christmas music and we were supposed to sing-along.

The “conductor” came through and punched their train tickets.

The faces they gave me when they realized we weren’t getting hot chocolate on the train.  I was a little bummed too!  It’s the Polar Express!!  haha!

Then Mrs. Claus came through our train car.  She chatted with every kiddo and gave them a bell.  Nixon asked her if she was the REAL Mrs. Claus.  She responded with, “Of course I am.”

And…she took time for a picture.

Then we “magically” arrived at the North Pole.  We walked through a little area full of pine trees and “snow”.  Then we ended up in this little show area.  Two elves and Santa came out and did a little performance.  They ended the night passing out “frosty chocolate milk”.

The perfect night for a little Christmas adventure with some of our favorites, the Shulls.
Thank you so much, Shulls, for being up for a little Christmas adventure!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend, girls!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm so sad your Polar Express isn't better. The one in my area is sold out in less than an hour when the tickets go on sale in July. They added twice as many dates this year and it still sold out in less than a day. Here they make it exactly like the movie. It is so much fun. I wish yours had been better!
