Hey Hey!
WHEW! I always am a little tired after April’s birthday week and this one has been no different. After birthdays, sports, and regular life I decided I had some catching you up to do on what’s been happening around here.
Friday kicked off with Ebby Lee’s birthday. She has the sweetest friends who brought cupcakes to school, texted or called, and just made her feel so special.
That evening we took her and three of her closest friends to dinner. They sat at their own table, had a “big girl” dinner, walked around, and we all got ice cream afterwards. These girls are super sweet and we had so much fun hanging with them!
Such a fun way to celebrate turning 12!
Saturday night we met the Shulls in downtown McKinney to have dinner and walk around the Arts + Bloom Festival. These two were anxiously awaiting their tattoos.
Britty got the fanciest purple tattoo. That hasn’t dissolved in the least in case you were wondering. 😂😂
I snapped a picture of Ashby sharing her tattoo and could NOT get over how grow up this girly is!
The rest of my weekend was spent cheering on Ebby Lee in her team’s last tournament of the season.
Her team hasn’t had the easiest season but I’m so proud of the way they ended.
As soon as volleyball ended we drove to watch the Bronco’s play in the championship game. Nixon’s baseball team got the first place win in their tournament over the weekend! WAHOO!
Those championship rings are the coolest.
It was the perfect way to spend Nixon’s birthday eve. And it also happened to be the kind of weekend I was already contemplating what nights I could get to bed really early before the week even began. Haha! Do you ever have those weeks?
I think you’re pretty much caught up with the Slaughter Happenings around here! Happy Tuesday, Everyone!
XO
Basically, you're like my own personal photographer. Bahaha! Thank you for taking such cute pics of my kids all weekend! I'm sad it's Tuesday…let's do it again!
