What’s Up, Friends?!
I feel like just last week Shay and I were sharing our Perfect Night-In and now it’s already time for another Let’s Look!
If you’re new around these parts, every month Shay and I team up for our Let’s Look series. Each month we have a new prompt where we take a peek something. We invite you to join us each and every month.
Last month, I shared My Perfect Night-In.
Love Languages–were the hot topic in February.
And January had us talking about our Coffee Bar Area, where that magical cup is made every morning.
Today, it’s all about our FRIDGES AND PANTRIES!
You should know that I always get groceries on Mondays and I snapped these pictures yesterday morning so not so much my fridge but my pantry looks super stocked. With six of us, my weeks always begin with lots of food and by the weekend we’re scraping by. For the most part, all six of us eat seven mornings of breakfast, about five lunches {minus the boys-they eat at elementary school}, and five nights of dinners. Plus snacks, drinks, etc!
Here’s a little look at my refrigerator-complete with dings from our kitchen door and finger prints.
😂😂
Here’s a peek inside…
Apparently, we’re a family who drinks a lot of milk, likes condiments, has a FULL meat and cheese drawer, eats a lot of veggies, and should add more fruit to our diet. I always keep our meat for the week in the grocery bags because I don’t need anything leaking.
Our pantry was STOCKED!! Our house doesn’t have lots of storage so the pantry becomes the catch all for anything we have extra of.
Pantry Staples in our house…
Rice
Rotel
Pickles
Spice Cake Mix and canned pumpkin for our favorite muffins
Gluten Free Cookie Mix-Ebby Lee and Kensington like to bake so this is something easy.
Chicken Stock
Several of these things I order online and stock up on…
These are some other things I always have on hand…peanut butter, Nutella, nuts {I’m having a moment with pistachios right now}, apple sauce, and Quest chips.
We also always have protein bars and a wide variety. I will get REALLY into a certain brand/flavor of protein bars, overdo it, and will need to take a hefty break for a while.
Drinks, protein shakes, trash bags, and plastic baggies on the bottom.
Yesterday, we had Shay’s Slow Cooker Chicken and Rice Soup and it was delicious! Bowen has baseball games during the week and nothing makes me feel more accomplished on a Tuesday than dinner cooking in my slow cooker!
Since I shared my refrigerator and pantry with you, thought I’d share what we’ve had for dinner lately in case you’re in a dinner rut…
*Steak and Baked Potatoes {Birthday Week, have I mentioned it?}
Next month, we’re sharing our outdoor organization. Where do you put your extra pool noodles, googles, sunscreen, etc? Hope you join us to discuss!
Happy Wednesday, Everyone!
XO
I'm impressed you can make it a full week! We grocery shop every 5 or 6 days; once we run out of fresh fruits my husband insists it's time to restock.
I love to organize so this was such a fun post! Thanks for sharing!!

Out pantry has become a catch all as well. It drives me crazy!!!
This. Is. Why. We. Are. Best. Friends. #justsaying
The spaces look great! Exposing your pantry and refrigerator is like letting people into your under garments drawers…very exposed and venerable moments. LOL. I think you need to trade Shay a couple of your milk cartons for her almond butter stash?
Your pantry looks an awful lot like mine, friend! Do you have any footprints on your fridge? We have that a lot around here. 🤪
That Inspired Chick
We have the same refrigerator model. I don't understand why mine why is bursting at the seams (although I clean it out every Monday morning) as there are only two of us at home and you have six! Perhaps we have more leftovers?
