Yesterday, I left off mid-day at DISNEYLAND! So, I’m picking right up where we left stopped. We paused mid-day to change things up and switch to California Adventure. Disneyland makes park hopping so easy!
We bumped into Pluto as we made our way around this park.
Pluto got down and high-fived Britt to get her to warm up. As we walked off, Ebby Lee was like-that was SO awkward. The photographer just kept taking our picture but of course, Pluto wasn’t saying anything.
The Redwood Creek Challenge Trail was one of our favorite spots and then we followed it up with a visit to Santa Goofy.
Golden Zephyr…
And Jumpin’ Jellyfish.
While the big kids and Tab rode something, Britty and I found a great parade watching spot.
Her little hand waving was so sweet.
A few minutes later…Mickey arrived!
I always think the swings look like no big deal until I get up there and am worried about that wire holding me and my kiddos up!
That Pixar Pier area is absolutely stunning all lit up!
And all of us voted the Incredicoaster as hands-down the BEST RIDE at Disneyland!
It was stunning!
I hadn’t made any dining reservations because I thought we’d want to soak in as many attractions as possible since we were cramming two parks in on one day. Turns out we started hitting a wall around 5:00 so we hopped onto the app and grabbed a dining time at a local resort.
Walking to dinner…which happened to be exactly what we needed. We left the crowds for a super casual relaxing dinner and it perked us all right up.
Back at Disneyland, the Christmas tree was absolutely gorgeous.
And I really should have taken a picture in front of the castle for you, but I’m certain we were all oohing and aaahing every time we walked by that a picture just never crossed my mind.
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters…any guess on the winner?
THIS GUY!
Want to know the ride we all voted Most Surprising {in a good way}? The Finding Nemo Submarine!
What two exhausted parents look like after a day at Disneyland. 🙂
The next day after a few delays it was time to catch our flight back to Texas.
See ya next time!
Oh California, you were so so good to us. This trip will forever go down in each of hearts as one of our favorites.
Thank you so much for following along. If you have any questions related to the game or the trip, please send them to alittlebitofeverything83@yahoo.com or leave a comment on this post. I have a Q and A post scheduled geared toward all the questions around our trip.
Thank you!
XO
Did you not go into Cars Land?!?! Did you miss Radiator Springs Racers?!?! We’ve been to Disney MANY times and it’s hands-down our family favorite. I hope you didn’t miss out!
THOSE SMILES say it all!!! What a fabulous trip!!!
Now back to real life. That was a LOOOng recap!! LOL
You need to end this. going on way too long.
Awe! It was a trip of a lifetime!!!
What an awesome experience!!!! SOOO FUN…. looks like it's going to be really hard to top the Rose Bowl!!!
Hi! We saw Cars Land but at the time of day we were there the lines for everything Cars-related were really long. That’s what happens when you cram two parks into one day. 🙂
Unknown-Feel free to unfollow!
Great recap!! Loved following along! We did DisneyWORLD in between Christmas and New Year's and it was amazing…crowded, but still amazing! Glad you guys had an awesome trip!!
California is on my list! So fun following along with your family.
Love love love following your recaps!
Loved following along on your California trip. I will never venture there. So makes me feel like I visited. Thanks for sharing your family with us.
Looks like you guys had a great trip! Makes me want to go spend a day in Disneyland. I've only been to DCA twice and I know there's so much I haven't seen! Does the Incredicoaster go upside down? And if so, is it a harness that is the safety restraint?
I tend to the perky one at the end of the day and the rest of my family looks wiped out because I just keep saying… one last ride!
I used to keep a personal blog for my family and I would always dedicate at least 1 post to each day of any trip we took. I love being able to look back and see all of the pictures and memories! Frequently when we travel to a new place I will search and search for blogs that do the same thing so that I can read all about the day to day! Thanks for sharing yours with us!!
How cute is Britt doing the love you hand sign and Ebby lees Mickey ears!!!’
