PORE Talk

I feel like everyone has one or two trouble areas or issues when it comes to skin.  For some of you, it might be dark spots or acne.  For me, it is PORES!  Anyone else?  Just in case you or someone you know deals with large pores too, I decided to highlight what I use to tackle those pesky things.  🙂

And like always, if you have some magic unicorn product that helps with pores, PLEASE share with us all!  We thank you in advance.

I can definitely tell a difference in the pore department when I use these products.  I haven’t found the magical unicorn cream that will make my pores micro-like, but until I do-this is what I’ve been using.

The Line-Up…

#1 Revision Brightening Facial Wash-I’ve been using this face wash off and on for a while now.  It leaves my skin feeling so fresh and the price tag is fabulous.  #bonus

#2 Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Treat and Transform Moisturizer-I found this moisturizer through my girlfriend, Kristin.  She raved about it and like always…when someone’s giving a product all the praises, I feel like I must try it out.  {WHY do I do that?!}  And I have to say, I’m a fan.  I have super dry skin and I’ve learned that when it comes to skincare hydration is KEY!  This moisturizer is soft, light and goes on so smoothly.  It leave my face feeling fabulous!

#3 The POREfessional Face Primer-This product came in my Sephora box this past month and I’m LOVING it.  {It also comes in a teeny, tiny trial size.}  I put this on after my moisturizer and right before my foundation.  This primer glides on leaving my face feeling like butter.  My foundation goes on so smoothly and I do think it blurs my pores.  #howisthatpossible

#4 Rodan and Fields Micro-Dermabrasion Paste-This product isn’t one I use weekly or even every other week-if I’m being honest, but when I do use it, I’m so glad I did.  It’s an exfoliating scrub that isn’t exactly like getting a real-life microderm, but it’s the closest thing outside of your aesthetician’s office.

#5 Dr. Brandt Pores No More Vacuum Cleaner-Okay, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that if you’re in the market for only one product to help with pores, I’d go with this one.  This is a mask that goes on clear, you leave it on for about 10-15 minutes {it’ll turn a light blue shade as it dries}, and then you rinse it off.  When I rinse this off, the mask has seriously vacuumed out all those pores and my face is squeaky clean.

For my PORE dilemma, these are the products I turn to…what about you??

Do you guys have a product that helps minimize pores?  If so, PLEASE share!  We’d all love to give it a try!

My skincare issue #2 would be fine lines, so I’ve got it on my calendar to discuss those products as well.  Hope you guys have a great Thursday!

XO

My pores are one of my big problem areas, too! I really like the Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque. My skin always looks so much better and feels so good after using it!

Mary Kay has a charcoal mask that works similar to the Dr. Brandt mask. I love it! I also use a Clarisonic cleanser brush that is specifically to clean deep pores, it works amazing.

I love the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask that I get from Sephora. It has helped my skin so much. I sometimes leave it on 15 minutes and other times overnight and my pores look smaller and my skin feels amazing.

I need serious help with the very large bags under my eyes. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am using a Mary Kay under eye cream, but I am not sure it is helping all that much.

Witch Hazel! Such a cheap thing but it really helps minimize my pores… I use once a day and it makes such a difference!

There are many Mary Kay products that work great. The Charcoal mask and Microdermabrasion work well. The foundation primer is also exact how you describe the one you use.

Susan, there are two other Mary Kay eye products that I have found work better thank the standard eye cream. The eye gel is great for puffiness and the Timeswise Repair Undereye products work better than the standard eye cream. (At least for me.) It has a silver tip that smooths it into your undereye area.

I've been using a new product that's not available to customers yet! It's called Joyome and after 14 days, I can already tell a difference in my pores, texture and lines.

I definitely need to try that mask for my pores. They are ALWAYS clogged and it's driving me crazy because foundation just looks HORRIBLE sitting on top of clogged pores.

I use Paula’s Choice products. Niacimide reduces pore size and also salycilic acid keeps the gunk out so your pores stay clean and smaller.
