Friday Favorites

Hey, Hey Friday!

Oh my goodness!  I’m so happy to see you.  We are knee deep in all the end-of-the-year crazy over here.  On the agenda today, FIELD DAY!

Before that I’m sharing a few FAVORITES from the week with my girls, Narci and Andrea.

My FAVORITE preschooler had his last day of preschool this week.  Who knew he was growing at lightning speed right before my eyes?  He lost all signs of baby over the last year and is more than ready to conquer kindergarten.  But in the mean time, I’m going to snuggle this boy as much as he’ll possibly let me until that day comes.

And little sister wanted in for a picture.  🙂  I got asked about their shoes…Bowen’s shoes and Britt’s shoes.

In yesterday’s post, I shared my FAVORITE products used to tackle those pesky pores.  If you missed it, you can read it and be sure to check out those comments.

Some of my FAVORITE things are on sale right now, so I wanted to share…
This top in “poppy” is 33% off right now.  Due to the color, this one will be able to make it spring to fall here in Texas.  🙂

This peplum top in red is sold out, but the burnt orangeish tan (known as “tan adobe cross dye” online) would be perfect in the early fall and is on super sale right now!

My button up is 40% off.  I sized up and then tied it in the front for a different look.

This top from the fall was a reader favorite and it’s now on sale 40% off.

Another top 40% off!  This one is on the verge of being too short.  I’d recommend this one for short-waisted girls!  It comes in three other colors as well.

I recapped our weekend and made sure to include info about these Color Street Nails.

Here’s the info, if you missed it on Wednesday…
My cousin, Lindsey, just signed on with a new company, Color Street.  Have you guys heard of them?  They’re a company that sells 100% nail polish strips that are super easy to apply.  I must report…they were SUPER EASY to apply {like, I did this in five minutes or less-easy to apply}. They’re way cheaper than going to the nail salon and having your nails professionally done.  My favorites are the glitter nails…they’re super user-friendly and hide all my little imperfections.  You can use them on your nails and toes. They’d make a great little gift for a friend, graduation gift, or the perfect way for you to treat yourself to cute nails.  You can check them all out on Lindsey’s website or feel free to e-mail Lindsey at lindseysheajenkins@gmail.com.

Someone asked how long they last and I think it’s a typical manicure time.  I’m sure it varies because it depends on how quickly your nails grow but average time is two weeks.

On these Friday FAVORITE posts, I really try to reflect back each week on what were my TRUE FAVORITES.  I know I’ve shared this before, but I’d be embarrassed if I told you how many times I had scrambled eggs topped with truffle salt this week.  #notevenkidding  I’m going strong on a truffle salt kick and there’s no end in sight.  It was a FAVORITE this week.  We had them for dinner, breakfast, and even a snack or two.  This one is my favorite.  I have to add this because if he was here with us, he’d want to throw it in himself.  For Christmas this year, Saltopia had all kinds of sets available for purchase as gifts.  I bought the set with both truffle salts along with another salt or two for Tab for Christmas.  Because haven’t we all purchased our spouse something we’d like to have personally??  Tab opened it and instantly looked at me with a “oh, thank you for buying me something you’re addicted to” face.  hahaha!  At this rate, he’s going to be wanting two or three sets for Christmas this year.  😉

*************************

That wraps it up for today!  I hope you have the BEST weekend.  We’re looking forward to a long break before we tackle the last couple weeks of school.  And HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!  I’m taking Monday off and will see you Tuesday!

XO
