I thought it’d be fun to document my birthday hour-by-hour, but then later I realized my birthday was a lot of me just being lazy.  ha!  It probably wouldn’t be that great to read.  I’ll share the highlights tomorrow on my Friday Favorites.  ðŸ™‚  So I switched the hour-by-hour post to yesterday!

Here’s my day by the hour…

6 a.m.-My day started with this goodness.

7 a.m.-I’m spreading a little pixie dust on some magical vacations.

8 a.m.-The last day to turn in Bowen’s preschool paperwork.  First stop-pick up immunization records and second stop-preschool.

9 a.m.-We picked up Kensington to hang with us for the day.

10 a.m.-The kiddos were playing so well upstairs.  My parents left and I grabbed a few more minutes to work on blog stuff.

11 a.m.-We all loaded up to head to the pool!  (We were unbuckling-we didn’t ride without seat belts.)

12 p.m.-We met the Dreffs at the pool and had lunch poolside.

1 p.m.-Narci and I documented the “mom table”.  I was laughing so hard because when we posed for the picture-somehow Narci had her hand ON MY NECK.  hahaha!  I’m sure you had to see it to understand, but we both died laughing.  #whatdoyoudowithyourhand

1:30 p.m.-Mrs. Narci brought cupcakes so we celebrated my birthday.  You know I didn’t mind.  ðŸ˜‰  Tab jokes that I like to celebrate my birthday for the entire month of August.  ha!

2 p.m.-I tucked this little guy into my bed for a nice long nap.  He woke up three and a half hours later!  When grandparents are in town, you skip naps, and you’re only three…you can get really tired.

3 p.m.-The dishwasher guys showed up and was super suspicious about this whole selfie thing.  Who can blame him?  This guy, Mike, and I are practically BFF now.  This was his fifth time to visit our house and more importantly our dishwasher in the last two months.  If something else happens, we’re getting a new one!  And I must add that Mike insisted I fill out the online survey about his visit.  I mean…I have to give him great reviews-who else would pose for a picture?  Right?

4 p.m.-These cuties took a little break from playing and watched a movie while enjoying popcorn.  (I was working and Bowen was napping.)

5 p.m.-Tab called to say he would be home around ten so all thoughts of cooking a real dinner went right out the window.  We loaded up to grab something to eat.

6 p.m.-My plan was to eat somewhere so I didn’t have a mess to clean up.  However, I took a look in the rearview mirror and remembered I was STILL in my swimsuit from earlier in the day.  So we headed to the DRIVE-THRU at Rosa’s.  ðŸ™‚

7 p.m.-I locked myself in the bathroom, took a bath, and read a couple chapters of this book.

8 p.m.-After overseeing bath time and putting the kiddos to bed, I grabbed a little ice cream (#keepinitreal) and watched Big Brother!

8:30 p.m.-My doorbell rang and this package arrived!!!  Some sweet friends from college sent me this barbecue sauce and Cavender’s seasoning that you can only get in the Missouri/Arkansas area.  I was NOT expecting it, so it was such a fun little surprise.  I’m not even kidding…in my pajamas at 8:30 p.m.-if Tab had been home I would have headed straight to the grocery story for ground beef.  hahaha!

Then I finished this blog post and headed straight to bed by 9:00.  It was GLORIOUS!

Hope you enjoyed my day by the hour. 🙂
