Our Week in Pictures

This should be a New Year’s Resolution for me.  πŸ™‚

I must admit I’m a blogger fail at taking everyday, daily life pictures.  I will go days before remembering to grab my phone and take a pic.  How does that even happen?

#bloggerfail

I’ve been trying harder {still a long way to go} to remember to snap some everyday life pictures to share with you.

This is what’s been happening around here…
Tab was out of town on a guys’ ski trip so it was the kiddos and me solo for church on Sunday.  It should be noted that Bowen wasn’t feeling the picture.  That should have been my warning sign that he wasn’t feeling well.

Just a bit later Sunday evening, this was my view…and the next day the doctor confirmed the flu!

After a bottle of Lysol and all the Clorox wipes, I should tell you he’s feeling much better and no one else has gotten sick.  #yet  #imnervous

We were home bound with Bowen so Britt and I got a few at home workouts in last week.  She drools more than any of my other children combined.  Look at that shirt!

Tab was out of town a lot in the month of January…two ski trips, two work trips, and add in a sick kiddo…I just needed a minute alone.  πŸ™‚  When I went to the gym last week, I stopped by the spa and asked if they had any open appointments.  I made myself a massage appointment and it was delightful.

Don’t mind the breakfast in her hair.  πŸ™‚  Miss Britt sported her first set of pigtails last week.

Bowen played at Ashby’s house and apparently he played HARD because he came home and slept for two hours.

Friday evening, the big kiddos asked if we could play, “Truth or Dare”.  Ebby Lee requested, “Dare”, and I made her a little concoction to drink.  Ketchup, Gatorade, Taco Sauce, and Chocolate Sauce…must have been good.  Right?

Friday night, these four had big plans to have a sleepover in the living room floor.  Look how pumped Britt looks about getting to join them!  It didn’t last long…home girl needed her bed.

I mean.  So stinkin’ cute.

After church, this cutie went outside to shoot some hoops all by himself.  Ebby Lee quickly joined him with a whistle to become his coach.  #sorryneighbors

Since it was Super Bowl Sunday, we decided to go big when it came to Britt’s church outfit.  That little official shirt was passed down from my nephew to Nixon, Bowen, and now Britty.  We spent the evening watching the game as a family of six in our pajamas.  My kind of night!

Hope you’ve had a great week {or two} as well!

Happy Wednesday!
XO

I'm sooooo impressed with Ebby Lee downing that concoction! I have to beg Carter to try a new kind of donut, and Ebby Lee is like "Sure! I'll drink a cup of total nastiness!" Hysterical!

Alright I think you must be the truth or dare queen. Share some more dare ideas for kids. I’m never fun enough to come up with any good ideas!

My kiddos were so funny! They were shocked when I had them to these dares…I had Nixon run down the street screaming without his shirt on. {He loved it-haha!} And then I made Ebby Lee that drink. The other times they dared each other. Ebby Lee made Nixon scream outside, β€œI have a crush on and she named a girl in his class”. He was mortified. πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

Ebby Lee, NOOOOOO!!! And oh my gosh…how sweet is that picture of all of them in the sleepover pic! My kids usually run away or cover their faces when I try to take random pictures throughout the day now. I hate that. πŸ™ Bribes work though. πŸ˜‰ That Inspired Chick
