I have had this post in the making for weeks and something else just kept popping up. So instead of making a full blown bucket list, I’m sharing what we’ve done or will be doing this fall. These are our family’s fall favorites…
*Halloween Party at School
Bowen and Ashby aren’t in the same class this year so we won’t get to recreate this picture. Bowen is looking forward to celebrating with a yummy treat at school.
*Trunk or Treat
Last year our church started a new tradition…Trunk or Treat. Trunks are decorated, candy is passed out, and everyone is all dressed up.
*Dressing Up
That’s fun for everyone. Right? I’ve procrastinated big time on this one, but I’m hoping to find something for Tab and I to dress up in. I’ll keep you posted. 🙂
*Trick-or-Treating
We meet up with friends every year and trick or treat around town.
*BOO’D
We’ve been the boo’er and the boo’ee…no matter which side you’re on it’s a fun little tradition.
*Pumpkin Patch
There’s something about having all my pumpkins at the patch. It makes my mama heart happy.
*State Fair of Texas
We’ve already hit up the fair this year and it did not disappoint!
*Make Soup/Chili
*Have Smores
*Carve Pumpkins
What about you? Does your family have a special fall tradition? If so, PLEASE share! Happy Thursday, Friends! See you back here tomorrow for some faves. 🙂
Making smores! What s good one! I also had "visiting a winery in the mountains" on my list! It did not disappoint!
I love that scarf that you're wearing in the fair picture! Is it Burberry?

The temps better get cool faster. I'm DYING for taco soup and Chris has strict rules that is must be chilly ALL DAY in order for taco soup to be consumed! 🙂 I can't wait to see if you and Tab join in on the dress up fun! I'll be the one not dressed up. #imsoboring
Sheaffer, you're ANYTHING but boring!! LOL ♡
I don't want it to end!!! I wish we could celebrate Christmas and then repeat fall :). Just too many fun things to do!
I love all of the Fall traditions! This weekend is going to be so fun!!
Great minds think alike! We do lots of similar stuff! http://houseofhargrove.com/fall-family-traditions/
Great list! Fall activities are so fun. In addition to pumpkins we do all things apples…apple picking, caramel apples, apple day at school, etc. My Anderson eats 4-5 apples a day!
Such great fall fun! We like to go to a local farm and take the hayride out to the pumpkin patch for each child to choose their own pumpkin. Also the corn maze is a lot of fun.
Loves these fall traditions!
We have S'mores on our list, too! I think we're going to try to cross that one off Friday night! As a matter of fact, it's one of the only things remaining… we've done almost everything on ours!
