Fall Into September

Do you guys know what today is?

It’s my bestie’s favorite day of the year so in honor of that Shay and I are kicking off a really fun photo-a-day challenge for Instagram.  The best news is it’s not only a photo-a-day challenge but with a giveaway included!  Each day, we will post our photos and then at the end of the day, we’ll randomly select someone who has also posted and hashtagged their pic with #fallintoseptember something “fall” that Shay and I both love. The price points and giveaway items will vary.  One day, it might be something BIG and then another day, it might be something small.  Either way, it’s a little bit of fall fun sprinkled into every day this month.  We hope you join us!

First of all, check out our “FALL WEATHER” headed here in about two weeks.  I’m being facetious, if you can’t tell because yes, that’s the most “fall” we’ve got in the forecast for the next ten days.

In the mean time, here are a few of my FALL looks lately…

This orange top from Target is really light and airy which makes it perfect to pair with shorts on a hot fall day.

Top is sold out but a short sleeve denim top with a little flair topped these white denim shorts {but mine aren’t the frayed} this week.

This comfy and cute quilted sweatshirt is another great option paired with shorts.

It comes in a dark orange/mustard as well-that was out of stock in my store or I’d have chosen that FALL color!  Also-I’ve been meaning to share my initial necklace and the other chain.  I found those on Amazon for under $17!!  They’re not THE nicest quality {because $17} but they’re really cute!

Another fall transitional top with these shorts, the Manda bracelet, and the brown leather bracelet.  I did a lot of computer work earlier this week hence the blue light glasses. 

Avara has been killing it with their fall fashion lately…this short sleeve flutter top is one of them.

And this is to show you I don’t always have my clothes “A” game going.  Some days look like this.  My pullover is from Tailgate, my very favorite place to buy college gear.

And my Steelers shirt came from there as well-if you saw the Insta Story from Nixon and Smith’s first football game of the season.

If you’re looking for a little more fall inspiration…tonight for dinner we’re having a FALL favorite for dinner…Slow Cooker Balsamic Chicken.  Tab and I are eating ours over cauliflower mashed potato while the kiddos are eating their chicken over mashed potatoes.  And we’ve also got a batch of Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins to bake as well.

Now I’ve gotta run.  I’m off to light a fall candle and get to work.  Hope you have the best September 1st, Friends!
