Nixon’s Birthday & My DVR

On April 12, 2010, we were blessed with this little surprise!! Nixon Talbot made his appearance and this mama instantly fell in love with ANOTHER boy!! 🙂

Nix and Ebby Lee celebrated their 1st and 2nd birthdays with a joint party in Missouri with family and friends.

When Nix turned 2, we threw a big Easter bash for another combo party.

Last year when Nix turned 3, he had a dog party at the park AND we celebrated again at Chuck E. Cheese that night with the Shulls.

This year we celebrated with our big 4-year-old at the zoo!!

When I asked Nix what he wanted to do for his birthday, these were his exact words, “I want Smith to come over for pizza”. HAHAHAHA!! His bestie, Smith, is on vacation, so we’re going to party hard with him when he gets back. But…to have some fun on Saturday we let him decide and he chose a zoo trip!

He had a GREAT day!!

My parents were in town celebrating birthdays so they were major help at the zoo!! (Tab was reffing a spring game at OU.)

With two extra helpers, this boy got to get out and check out ALL the animals.

I sent this to my cousin, Whitney. For some reason, I ALWAYS think of her when I’m in the Primate Area at the zoo. hahaha!

Bowen’s VERY favorite part of the day.

He was WAY too cool to let me take one of him alone…so I had to get in. (There were some 8 or 9-year-old girls beside him and he looked SO offended when I asked to take his picture. Oh my!! Is it ALREADY starting??)
