February 26th 2019, is the second anniversary of my sweet friend, Manda, seeing Jesus face to face whole and completely healed. We miss her terribly here on earth but what an awesome day that was for Manda.
Just recently our pastor did a sermon on what heaven will be like. The entire time I was sitting in the pew I was wiping silent tears from my eyes just thinking about how amazing it was when Manda entered her forever home. Grief is hard. It hits at awful times and is an emotional roller coaster, but the sermon left me feeling so full of peace. I strongly encourage you to listen.
You can also watch Manda’s Celebration of Life. She was an inspiration to so many. She’d want us to be living our lives the same way she lived hers…pointing others to Jesus. This verse sums up her lifesong to me…she fought hard and kept the faith every single day.
Manda’s family started the Manda Strong Foundation in her honor. This foundation provides a Christ-centered support system for young moms battling cancer as well as helps them make memories with their families that will last a lifetime. You can donate to this amazing organization to help them bless these moms.
I wish each of you reading could have known my friend, Manda, but I have no doubts she’ll be ready to greet us as we’re entering our forever home. What a day that will be…
XO
Just yesterday as I was in the car and listening to a song, I found tears streaming down my face. "Well done, Well done. My good and faithful one. Welcome to the home where you belong." Can you imagine her Heavenly reception? Beautiful tribute today, friend.
Loved reading this today. Beautiful words about our precious friend!
Her service and testimony blessed me so much!
