She weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
So sweet! She had the biggest Angelina Jolie lips when she first came out. All the nurses kept walking in to check out her lips.

This is T-Nonna….my mom. We struggled with a name for her. I think Shay, Whitney, and Amber tried to help her out in the waiting room all morning, but they didn’t come up with anything fabulous. We really kept saying T-Nonna as a joke, but it kind of stuck!

At my doctor’s appointment on Monday, April 6, my blood pressure was high (for the second week in a row) and I was dilated to a 2 and 75% effaced. So, my doctor decided that he really wanted to go ahead and induce this week. I secretly think he didn’t want Ebby Lee disrupting his Easter ham, but all that to say, Tab and I were super excited about having a baby so soon!! We raced around and tried to get all the last minute details finished. The nurse called on Tuesday and said that the hospital has room for you on Thursday…so Thursday it will be! It ended up being a blessing that we actually knew when the big day would be. I had time to get everything ready at school and we got everything ready at home.
We went into the hospital at 5:00 on Thursday morning. They started me on the contraction medicine (don’t know how to spell that word) around 6:00. Tab and I were just hanging out and enjoying ourselves. At 8:45ish, my doctor came in and broke my water. I got my epidural around 10. Friends and family came in to hang out and helped me pass the time. By 12:30, I had dilated to a ten and my nurse was ready for me to push. We…well I…pushed w/the nurse and Tab until about 2:30 and then they called the doctor. We had Miss Ebby Lee at 3:04 p.m.

Congratulations!!! YEAH!!! You look AWESOME for just having a baby!! Holy cow girl!! Okay, so you need to send my your address so I can send you a gift!!! We have been waiting for this BIG DAY!! The kids and I are coming out in June. Maybe we can bring it to you!!

she is gorgeous. she was the same exact weight and length as chloe. And almost the same birthday.. congratulations, she is beautiful. hope you are feeling okay.
