I hope you guys had a GREAT Fourth of July! I’m not sure if it’s all the red, white, and blue, the friends we’re surrounded with, or a full day of fun in the sun that helps Independence Day qualify as one of my FAVORITE holidays, but whatever it is…that day totally has been nominated as a favorite. 🙂
We began our morning in Downtown McKinney at the parade.
Andrea captured these pictures of Britt with the flag. Thank you, friend! Lots of friends always meet up in the same location and we have a blast hanging out before the parade begins.
Love, love, love these girlfriends of mine!
You guys…just a year ago these three were all celebrating their first 4th. So much has changed!
(Thank you, Brooke, for these cute pictures!)
Look how much they’ve grown. Seriously, melts my heart!
Thought you might want to see it one more time. 🙂
Miss Britt has changed so much. Last year, I was holding her almost the entire time. She didn’t want to be put down. This year she wanted to socialize!
And her big sister. 🙂
Nixon took her with him for a front row seat during the parade.
Don’t think she minded one bit. ha!
I hadn’t seen Meagan in a while, so I was pumped to hug her neck!
Our little corner was READY!!
McKinney is a big town, but it’s events like this that give it a small town feel.
Please note, Madeley Shull waving her flag.
My only complaint that morning was the HEAT! Can you tell by Britty’s hair? It was HOT!
We spent the afternoon/evening at the Shull’s swimming and cooking out before we watched fireworks. This was my last picture of the day, but trust me…fun was had by all!
Hope you guys had a great day as well! And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who’s paid for the freedom we have today!
