Friday Favorites

Week Two of school is in the books! And we have a three day weekend so we’re all pumped! Hope you and your crew has had a good week too! I’m teaming up with Andrea and Narci to bring you Friday Favorites! We’d love for you to join us!

The last two weeks have been some of my FAVORITES with this girl. She’s missed the big kids like crazy BUT she’s gotten extra perks like napping in mom’s bed {which is a big deal in her two-year-old world}.

I’m not calling this a favorite just yet, but it has potential. 🙂 You guys know I’m a fan of anything truffle related so when I saw this at my local grocery store, I HAD to give it a try. I’m giving it a 6/10…I think I went wrong by adding a little extra to the sauce…ground beef, a little more seasoning, garlic, etc. and all my “dashes” disguised the truffle flavor! I’m gonna try it again and not do a THING to this jar!

*Has anyone tried this sauce?*

On Saturday evening, we watched our FAVORITE college football official on t.v.

This isn’t a favorite…but right after I tucked all four kiddos into bed on Saturday night, this happened. I had taken a bath and locked the door so no kids would surprise me mid-bath. But apparently, I forgot to unlock it and I locked myself out of my bedroom. My phone had 1% battery life left and I called my parents for help! Whew! They talked me through it and it ended well. But…for a second I was panicked!

I saw this on a friend’s Facebook this week and loved it. Sometimes as a mom I get overwhelmed by everything I should be praying about and for when it comes to my children. I thought this was helpful and wanted to pass it on.

I enjoyed a Girl’s Night with some of my FAVORITE ladies earlier this week. Every year we have a Scarf Exchange Party…think “white elephant” style…so we all choose a number at random. Number one opens a gift and then number two can either “steal” hers or open a new gift. We play until everyone has had a turn and we give number one-one last chance to steal. This year we tweaked it a bit and it became a “Fall Accessory Exchange”. I’ve gotta say-I think I loved this even more! We went home with scarves, fall earrings, fall nail color, and more. A super fun night with these ladies!

I think that’s all for today. I’m gonna take Monday off to spend with my family, but I’ll be back here on Tuesday! Hope to see you then.
